Oops, turns out this situation happens to be directly relevant to certain scenarios back in the Faceless Minion, so had to bring the connection in. We barely avoided NSLICE-00P’s previous Commander immediately resolving the situation! …which considering them, is not at all out of character, but might have felt like a deus ex machina to those of you who didn’t read that one lol. But well, considering that they took on NSLICE-00P and won back in the day, maybe they’re already a living deus ex machina lol.
My desire to prevent any sort of cross-novel spoilers and keep the novel as stand-alone as possible while still giving adequate context to her thoughts when she would logically make the connection is being put to the test though, haha.
In fact, NSLICE-00P, um, may or may not have just gotten a spell from one of the Faceless Minion’s most powerful characters so, um, oops? Because now that I reviewed that scene, like, why wouldn’t she have recorded a spell being cast right in front of her…that…she, um, now has the mana to cast…um…

Can Ateia get a handle on her new situation? Can NSLICE-00P determine a solution to the situation with preexisting organic memories? Did she learn powerful spells from an individual who doesn’t appear in this novel? Tune in next time, to find out!

Like some found a way to harness Mana into magic circles, as the example states. Some could have powers granted from gods. You could just say that the other world was full of hedge wizards who Mcguyvered their own magic systems, and basically brute forced it to work.

Questions that require me to decide what the magic system in the Faceless Minion actually was...err, I mean, to reconcile these fully fleshed out and well thought out systems together! Luckily there are only a handful of confirmed mage characters there so maybe we can just say she avoided them...wait...she definitely would have encountered that one... ... uh oh.

Id so would this allow her to compare both Magic Systems and learn more about both and expand more of her knowledge/experiments after comparing and contrasting both? Or would the Spells/Magic Circles fit into the 1st Magic System? And if so then would this allow her to expand her knowledge/experiments further with the 1st Magic System?
