Thank you for your patience, regular programming will resume…tomorrow as it turns out I wrote a chapter’s worth of side character stuff so we starting off with an interlude. Whoops lol. But I had to address Lommel’s question on the monster hangar after 00B’s evolution. To which I say…oops I didn’t think of that and now I have to resolve the plot hole of 00P not immediately fixing the issue.
Now for democracy. The polls are in, let’s see what the results were!
First of all, it was a somewhat close race, but the majority of folks prefer the old cover it seems. The AI is more efficient at Seero than organics, I guess. That or could be that my current artist’s style is more superhero comic vibes than anime vibes since he was mainly working on my other novel? I am told by some IRL folks that the original cover is better because it's cuter.
Well, it is crucial to retain the cute anime girl buff, so old cover it is! We’ll call the new covers concept art for Seero. So, um, congrats! You all get some patreon-exclusive bonuses now!

Secondly, it seems everyone is overwhelmingly in favor of continuing this arc on as originally planned. Huh, guess I was overthinking it after all. The trend of ‘Icalos gets burned out and anxious every 100k words’ seems to be holding with surprising regularity. I guess I should keep track of that and just plan to take breaks around those times haha.
Or, like, take more breaks in general? Eh.
In any case, thank you for confirming I’m not making a terrible mistake! I’ve determined a plan for the rest of the arc that also got rid of that vague sense of things getting away from me so we should be good to go now.

2023-03-21 23:59:47 +0000 UTCJust because I brought it up before, but didn't explain my reasoning on why I thought so, to me, an interlude is any Chapter that has less than 50% of the chapter from, or including, the MC. So, if the chapter is from Ateia's POV, but she was with Seero the whole time, I would consider that a normal chapter with a different POV. But, like this one, where Seero had less than 50% screen time, it would be an interlude.
