I can partly agree with this. There are some stories where there is a clear MC. There are other stories where there is an MG(roup). The only way those stories usually work are when the chapters swap between characters, but follow where the previous chapter stopped. In other words, there is no rewind, to recap, nothing relating what the previous chapters mentioned so as to avoid beating a dead horse. They just pick up where the previous chapter stopped, usually in a cyclical manner, between characters.

2022-12-27 06:39:15 +0000 UTCI too vote for more MC Azarinth Healer and in the latest Minkalla arc Path of Ascension put PoV of other people into extra specially marked chapters, this way those interested can still get that kind of content. AH, in the new book, has only some very short PoV-change paragraphs, that's okay. In the end I don't really have a reason to care about the other people. Well, I want them to be okay because friends of MC suffering is bad, but still within a story mostly ABOUT the MC and not about the others.
