Mia- Hey, you back from your run Sarah?

Sarah- Yea Mia.

A out of breath Sarah starts to pull off her sneakers as she walks to the living room of their apartment, making her way to flop on the couch.

Sarah- Hey Mia you know what?

Mia- What’s up. beat your time again ?

Mia- Sarah! you know that’s not my favorite way to work out, we’ve been friends through grade school, high school, and college now we’re sharing an apartment together you know I don’t run.

Sarah always respected her friend, but always liked doing things with her. For a while Sarah has been on a huge jogging kick, she goes to the local track once a day at the minimum.

Sarah waited silently for a couple of minutes trying to figure out a good challenge that would be fair for them to bet on. and that’s when it hits h…

when Sarah first started running her goal was 2 miles straight and to be under 24 minutes, feeling like this is something Mia could possibly do, it was the best she could come up with on the spot, plus she was sure Mia would have trouble but it was not impossible for her either.

Sarah- Ok Mia I got it, I bet you can’t jog 2 miles in 24 minutes.

Mia- oh a running bet fun, ok well that’s sound ok.

Waiting for her friend to agree so they can come up with some terms was itching at her. after dinner they were sitting on the couch Sarah grabbing the remote, that’s When Mia speaks up.

Mia- Ok so if I say yes what are the terms like, what are we betting.

Sarah- you know the rules, we do that until after we agree on the challenge.

Mia- Ok it’s a bet but you gotta tell me what I gotta do if I lose, like right now?

Sarah- Ok hmmm let me think.

Sarah resumes a show they been watching together to think about what she wants to see her friend do, also  not wanting it to be to bad cause she might come back and give her something worse.

Sarah- Ok I got it, but first when is this going down.

Mia- How bout tomorrow Night Since we both have off Friday? plus I rather just beat you real fast so we can get this done and over with .

Sarah- Oh very confident,  I love it let’s just see if it stays that way after you hear your what you have to do when you lose.

Mia- so whats the forfeit.

Sarah- If you lose, this weeknd we are gonna go to the casino and your going to wear that tight blue dress you have sitting in your closet.

Mia- The one that barely covers my ass ok?

Thursday day around four both girls got home, Sarah took a shower first, she got out and dressed in her run clothes early excited for the night. she was so happy that her best friend will have to walk butt naked in a casino maybe, Sarah still had some doubts that Mia might pull it off. Sarah looking at her clock more concerned about that time. she knew if she kept this pace she would lose for sure.

Lap 3, 2 45 total 9 05

Then lap 4,  3 10 total 12 15

Sarah- You getting tired Mia? You can quit now.

Mia- You would like that wouldn’t you less talking more running.

Mia charged ahead focused on the prize, knowing Sarah wants her to quit, afraid that Mia might actually have a chance

Lap 5, 3 10 total 15 25

Lap 6, 3 05 total  18 30

Sarah- Sorry Mia looks like you are not gonna do it

Mia looks over smiles, you better get a pole cause your gonna be stripping soon, then pushes her pace, running faster and faster.

Sarahs smile quickly fades knowing her friends pace is faster then she thought it would be. concerned with this Sarah face turning beat red, still having a strange feeling of being turned on.

Lap 7, 2 35 total 21 05.

Going on the last turn Sarah finally catches up from falling behind.

Lap 8, 2 40 total 23 45

Mia walking overto the field falling on the grass in the middle of the track out of breath, she looks up to Sarah’s red face with her hands above her head taking a deep breath.

Sarah walks over to Mia, puts out her hand and helps her off the ground. Mia walks around still catching her breath, turning to Sarah looks at her and speaks two words.

Mia- I won

As Sarah starts to round her last turn, the jogger catches up only about 25 feet behind, she starts to slow her pace until a walk coming right up behind  Mia and Sarah.

Once she completed the lap with her new friend Sarah went it for the gate. Mia stayed  behind to talk to the jogger, Sarah waiting at the gate.

Sarah and Mia start to walk, Sarah starts to get a little bit more nervous, trying to cover up some without making it as they start passing houses. Sarah trys to hide behind some cars as cars drive-by. on the street so far only one car drove by, but she still being cautious Mia then  runs up behind her friend and says she almost forgot something, Sarah than feels a grab on her ass then a smack

About halfway home Sarah decided it was a good time to cross the street. She looks both ways, then darts for it running behind a pick up truck that’s parked on the side of the street. Mia right behind her, they turn to get on the sidewalk and our instantly met With a small Chihuahua.

The lady walking her dog turned back and said she wasn’t going to take her dog for a walk, but she’s glad she’s did, first time she got to see two full moons in one night. Mia and the woman both laughed. Mia and Sarah continue down the street Sarah turned back and seen that the lady walking her dog was getting a full view and not taking her eyes off her.

Couple houses from her duplex. Sarah started to pick up her pace and finally reached the door. only to realize she had to wait for Mia to unlock it because she has a key. Mia made Sarah look at her and took one more picture of her outside. before they entered their apartment.
