🔴 A View To A Kill (1985) | DOUBLE-0-RoD 002

Like a racehorse put out to pasture, should they have turned Roger Moore into glue before this movie even started filming? What A View...To A Kill!

When James Bond recovers a Soviet microchip from a dead British agent, he follows a trail that leads him to the scheming Max Zorin (Christopher Walken). 007 must stop the insane industrialist and his enigmatic henchwoman (Grace Jones) before they trigger a geological catastrophe.

Thanks for your patience, RoDers. I hope you'll agree with us that it was worth the wait. Double-0-RoD will return in Spectre.

You forgot to mention my favourite part when bond gets his balls scratched by an antenna whilst hanging from the rope.

Great reviews lads! Enjoyed it very much. Admittedly, I don't like this film, it ranks in my worst 3 Bond movies. I think because it's tonally all over the place trying to be serious at times but can't be because it has to fit into the formulaic comedy pattern of the Moore era. I think if it was Timothy Dalton's first movie with its darker gritty tones then it could have been one of the best Bond films. Also my understanding on why Moore & Jones didn't get along at first was because he liked to have a nap, in the afternoons, but couldn't because she was playing loud music; in her dressing room nearby and refused his requests to turn it down which annoyed him.
