2023-12-27 15:10:26 +0000 UTCI think itβs also an indictment against the founders character when you compare the figure of Simon Bolivar, the guy who would unite and liberate Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Panama*, and Bolivia from Spain. He became fiercely anti-slavery simply because of his combat experience with slaves fighting for their freedom. Less than 30 years later and the same βclassβ as the founders, but had a reckoning based on experienced humanity. In particular, I think itβs notable Washington failed to grow in that respect *(Panama isnt a real country)
