Salutations gentlefolk,
It is early January. If you haven't broken your New Years Resolutions, well done. If you have, well done. As long as you're treating yourself well, that's all that matters!
Our New Years Resolution is to keep the good ship RoD afloat. We've taken a week off to get our ducks in a row and tonight (8 Jan), we'll be recording the first show of 2024; Ep71. The Daleks In Colour! Here's a rough idea of January/February's content between the main pod and Patreon* content:
The votes for the RoDies are pouring in and we can happily announce that Johnny will be returning to present some of the categories and read out the Big Finish nominees again (always a highlight). How exasperated will he get? Tune in to find out. Remember, the vote closes on 10 January!

Work has started on Double-0-RoD, with frequent collaborator David "Dave" Burgess returning to spice up the reviews with a specially designed intro and logo. We'll reveal more as things come together, but the main image of this post is an early proposal for the opening titles.
We're also working on a brand new merch site, with new designs and some carried over from the old Represent store. Represent was bought by Cameo a few years ago, and they unceremoniously closed our page (along with everybody else's) in December. No firm date for when these will go live, but here's a preview of a few things that will be available, courtesy of Spring (formally, Teespring).

Finally, and this is so tentative I almost hesitate to mention it, but I (that is, me, Billy, hello) am starting to think about booking a two/three week holiday back to Blighty around Jun/Jul/Aug! I would love to time it with a convention so we can record a live episode, but if that isn't possible, would people in the UK be keen to see us in the flesh at a small venue in Bristol? Reasonably priced, of course, and with more than just ourselves on the bill (think a mini-con, with a few panels/talks sprinkled through the afternoon). Would that appeal to you RoDers? We would make sure it is hosted in an accessible venue with a reasonable schedule so people have time to commute in and out of the city.
Anyway, lots of plates spinning - will be fun to check back later in the year to see what actually comes around! In the meantime, keep on keeping on and we'll see you in the funny pages.
All the best gang,
- RoD
Chris Clark
