I just think we didn’t appreciate long hair psychotic Warren enough.
While looking through my files I found that Angel piece I made around 2 years ago and thought it was crazy that I haven’t drawn him so long.
I got to it immediately (yes, even with the comms, Raven and original going on) and had to use Abbott Thayer’s work as the main reference. His work with Angels had three identifiable characteristics: young women, somber colors, peaceful and even endearing expressions, so I said let’s do the complete opposite.
