It’s October. Didn’t September fly by? Scary if you ask me. Defo something you notice more as you get older - how the year just seems to skip ahead of you!
Hello to our new RoDers and greetings to our returning Patreon supporters, many of whom have upgraded their pledges for early access and invites to the Discord server. And what a community that’s become - there’s even a meet up being organised in Manchester this weekend! That’s the coolest thing ever. Have fun you lot, take plenty of pics and look after each other!
Time to fill you all in on our plans for October and early musings on November, which will be the most active and busy period in the podcast’s life so far. First off, Bidding Adieu has been delayed again because Johnny’s back at school teaching and has all of his parenting responsibilities to see to (as if that’s more important than the podcast?!). But we have a great replacement lined up. Asterisks* are for Patreon exclusives and as ever, card subject to change.

And then we hit NOVEMBER! The 60th Anniversary! Gah! Exciting, and also scary! We’re trying to bank some material up for Patreon so there’s enough time and space given to the main show as we review of Specials one-by-one. So a few things to expect; a chat about Doctor Who’s 40th Anniversary, a commentary of the 30th Anniversary special ‘Dimensions in Time’, the ‘Zagreus’ retrospective review as well as our ongoing Once and Future critiques!
And then we’ll be looking ahead to Ncuti Gatwa’s debut series as No. 15 in the New Year. Phwoar, it never bloody ends does it?! At some point, we’ll also share our plans for the non-Who stuff we’ll be covering, but that’s likely to come after Series 14.

Hiya Conrad, just seen this now, apologies! We had to reschedule it, unfortunately. I've yet to check in with people who were originally down for it. But when I do and we set a new date I'll drop you a message here (or on Discord, if you're there/wanted to join?) to see if you can make it.
