The BASIC section also reminded me of when we started getting laser-perforated paper that the sides tore so much more cleanly off and how happy I was to have that upgrade. *chuckling .. And, definitely remember when I would get my time on the DEC VAX to key in my code and see how it'd work out. I mean, all-nighters .. LOL .. How about 24hr runs with only coffee and vending sweet rolls etc. But, I friggin' had a blast and we were designing the future.. If ONLY I'd known it'd come with Advertising I'd have pushed in so many different directions I think. Still recall that end-of-an-era feeling when I saw the first advert on the network. Even seem to recall warning one or two folk nearby that this was a very ill omen. But, now we also have Patreon and Reddit so not everything went completely the way of the cat food in the teapot (at least not All of everything anyway). *Cheers.!
