RoD Update (25/11/2022)

It’s bloody freezing out in the U-of-the-K and the Christmas stuff has been on display in the big ASDA since before Halloween. As we hurtle towards the end of the year, here’s a rundown of what to expect from the Boys from the RoD between now and the end of the year.

Before that though, a massive thank you and hello to you lovely RoDers, old and new! You keep pushing us to make the show bigger and better, and even though the podcast will become an international co-production from March next year (with Billy recording in New Zealand for 12 months and Matt staying on the Sofa of Reasonable Comfort in Bristol - hopefully a more successful intercontinental arrangement than Fox and the BBC in 1996), it’s safe to say 2023 will be a major year for the show (and THE show, meaning Doctor Who). More interviews, more features and possibly a few commentaries for actual, proper episodes of the Blue Box Show.

Anyway, onto the here and now with a revised schedule for the rest of the year.

Oh and a little tease for 2023…

And that’s that! If you have any fond memories, general thoughts and feelings or questions for Billy about Totally Doctor Who, drop them in the comments too and we’ll go over them when we record the commentary on Monday!

All the best RoDers,

- RoD 💜💚

Comments

My main memories of Totally Doctor Who consisted of mostly thinking "they know nothing!". They seem to judge people on how well they could remember the instantly forgettable and flippant names of characters and planets that early RTD1 was full of.

When reunion did you prefer 5 and Tegan or 7 and ace, also with the idea of potential spin-offs in RTD2 would you like an 8th doctor series (yes of course) and what would like to see from it if it does get the green light
