In 2009, Abyss Creations improved the material, switching from tin-cured silicone to platinum silicone, making the dolls more durable and less prone to tears or compression marks.
The RealDoll was a milestone in the evolution of sex dolls, setting a new standard for realism and customization that has influenced the development of later models—including those inspired by anime and video game characters.
