Added 2020-08-28 11:45:52 +0000 UTCSo... there I was. Having queued up a lot of renders. Ate dinner with the family, and relaxed on the couch with the new episodes of Lucifer on netflix with the relaxing sound of the computer fans in the background. It's a much better couch than the mc's, let me tell you that.
Then, suddenly, the sickening sound of a fan going haywire. Like if you took a sharp metal object and rammed into it. And the more sickening sound of the computer dying completely. I'm not joking when I tell you it felt horrible. I was cold sweating. Got up and ran into the other room to check on the computer. There I saw smoke. Oh, no.
And then I woke up - with the relaxing sound of the computer humming in the background. Nightmares come in all forms and shapes. :p
So, either I'm thinking way too much about the story, or Lucifer's new season is not that great. :)
Anyway, the story is progressing nicely. I lost a bit of time re-doing the lewd scenes for this part, to make it better match a progressing 'intimacy control' environment, and honestly I'm glad I did. The result was very good.
Render count is exactly 2400 animated frames and 469 static frames.
I'm now ready to progress the less branching content, and really looking forward to more streamlined scenes now, as they are much more fun to do.

2020-09-02 02:11:37 +0000 UTCLuckily, a long time dealing with computers has taught me the importance of backing up. So every 2 days my LoF project gets a backup to Google Drive, and my non Daz assets and save files every 2 weeks. It helps keeping the worst nightmares at bay. :)

2020-08-28 20:20:13 +0000 UTCIf have not done that yet, make sure you make a good backup outside of your computer (cloud or if do not want that an external HD) of your assets and main files, it might have been that what your dream was telling you. :P
