yes you heard me… the audacity of this moment, bare open from the waist down: sticky, sugary, little chilly from the drips-cold-towel-wipe while it's also hot-sugar-wax…
what’s the words to describe this bare-able-pain of waxing your legs?
and we haven't even mentioned the b r a z i l l i a n . . . . w a x 🫦
so, God, where do we start, huh? give me a prompt... LOL
i know you love to laugh...
GOD LOVES TO LAUGH.
(re) channeling this prayer — out from the wax room to a round table next to a temple, staring the mango tree... the wind brushes my skin, the leaves dancing.
how do i describe this connection?
it feels like live wire — visually intriguing,
whole lotta wire tangled around the branches of the tree and this temple watching silently, almost like a witness of a higher intelligent.
between the artificial and natural,
between the sugared skin and spirit sky,
between me and something far greater, that now whispers:
through the wind. through my fingertips.
(as i write) a spark of water forms above my upper lip (where did that come from?),
a yellow leaf falls right next to my feet, and if you are still questioning magic and spirit...?????
me (almost) taste it all, attuned to the frequency
to pray is to feel.
to pray is to listen.
to listen the silence, to listen the whisper.
and the willingness to see between the unseen,
the prayer's begun before you even said a word to God.
this moment, if i could capture in a word, it will be profound prayer :
cos to pray is also to laugh, to feel the wax burn and still giggle, and whispers:
this is absurd, holy lyfe ~
