My First Apartment Chapter 10

Friday went smoothly at work. I cleaned up the pool and patio area in preparation for the Saturday Potluck. Bunny brought lasagna from a little family restaurant across town. It was really good! Bunny and I ran through our routine over and over. Bunny was as good as I was.

Saturday morning, I was making my rounds early. I wanted to make sure we had extra trash cans around the pool and patio. Bunny came over at noon. We did some last-minute rehearsal. I made a Hawaiian Baked Ham. Bunny and I wore our grass skirts and leaf tops, headdresses with our flat sandals.

Bunny, Chloe, and I set up tables and extra chairs with Mr Partenza. Mr Partenza brought a crockpot of Texas Chilli (no beans). Soon, everyone started arriving. There had to be over 300 people, maybe more.

I was starting to get very nervous. The idea of performing in front of so many people scared me. Bunny saw how scared I was. She wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed the back of my neck.

It's okay, baby! There's nothing to be afraid of! Bunny said to me. You're a terrific dancer, and I'm right beside you!

I know! But it's a lot of people!

Relax! Chloe said. I've seen you dance, and you're better than those tourist theme dancers. You're going to be great! I'm going to be up front watching!

After a couple of hours of mingling, drinking, and eating, it was time.

Chloe welcomed everyone.

Tonight! We have a special treat. Our very own Lana and her girlfriend Bunny are going to hula dance for everyone! Let's give Lana and Bunny a warm welcome!

Everyone started clapping. I was getting more nervous by the second. Bunny French kissed me.

Come on, Babe! Let's do this! Bunny said.

Chloe started the hula music. Bunny and I strutted onto the patio in hula style. We started dancing and then we worked in between the tables, dancing for each table. Bunny and I were in sync dancing together. We started shaking our hips fast with the drum beat at the end of our number.

The crowd clapped loudly and whistled. Bunny and I held hands and bowed. Mrs Wilson was smiling and cheering in a motherly fashion. Mr Partenza was with his date, both of them smiling and clapping.

That's pretty good for a couple of fairies! I didn't realize this complex was faggot friendly!

It was Lou, with three friends. They were drunk, maybe even high on something! Mr Partenza looked at Chloe. Call 911! He commanded.

This is a resident party only! You're not welcome here! Chloe stated.

Lou pushed Chloe to the ground and he slapped me and Bunny in the face.

Lou! Take your friends and leave! You're no longer welcome here! Mr Partenza said.

You won't get lucky again, old man! Lou said.

Maybe, but he isn't alone! Stan Winters and his friend Charlie Sanford stood next to Mr Partenza. We got your back Mr.P! Stan said.

Many of the residents, including Mrs Wilson, started recording the incident on their phones.

Stan and Charlie were College football players. I never talked to them. They did smile at me a couple of times.

Looks like fairy heaven here! Lou said. I count at least three.

Then you should know that haters aren't allowed! Charlie said.

Just then, the cops showed up.

Twice in two weeks, Lieutenant! The patrolman said.

You can't fix stupid! And he brought company! Mr Partenza said.

Damn Lou! Aren't you out on bail?

We didn't do anything! Lou stated.

Expect three counts of assault, trespassing, and lude insulting us in public! Chloe said.

Okay, so that's trespassing and disturbing the peace, and three counts of assault. The patrolman said.

On your knees, boys! Hands behind your head!

The men were restrained, and a second police car showed up, and they left.

Are you girls alright? Asked Mrs Wilson.

Mrs Panabaker was there moments later with bags of ice for our faces

We're Okay! We said. Thank you, we said!

Guys! Will you take care of the girls? I have to go to the police station and sort this out! Mr Partenza asked.

Sure thing Mr, P! Said Stan.

I have to clean up I said.

We'll clean up the place! Mrs Wilson said.

Let's go to my place! We can stretch out and relax. Chloe said.

Bunny and I grabbed our bags!

You lead, we'll follow! Charlie said.

Stan and Charlie followed us to Chloe's beautiful house.

The guys were impressed by the house.

Lana, start up the hot tub and get your bikinis on so we can relax a bit! Chloe said.

Would you guys like a beer?

Please! They said.

Jump in the hot tub and I'll change and bring you the beer.

I was getting nervous as we changed into our bikinis.

Relax, Lana, I'm betting they know about us! Bunny said.

Are you sure?

Pretty sure! We were accused of being faggots! Nobody denied it. Because nobody at the pool party cared! All they saw was two pretty girls hula dancing! If they were uptight about it, they wouldn't have followed us or stuck up for us.

The boys were relaxing in the hot tub when Bunny and I came out. Their eyes locked on us. Bunny and I were holding hands as we walked towards the hot tub. The guys stood up and took our hands as we walked into the tub. Chloe came outside with a tray of drinks. I saw Chloe smiling at the sight of it

The guys had beer, Bunny and I had Iced tea, and Chloe had a glass of wine.

I loved your hula dancing! Stan said.

How long have you two been dancing together? Charlie asked.

About two weeks! Bunny said.

I let Bunny do a lot of the talking, I was really nervous.

I have tickets to see Lady Gaga next weekend, I was going to sell them on Stub Hub. Unless you and Lana want to go with us? Stan asked.

We'd love to! Wouldn't we, Lana? Bunny asked.

Sounds like fun! I said, trying to sound excited. Inside, I was scared out of my mind.

Chloe was just smiling and sipping her wine.

We relaxed in the hot tub for about half an hour, chatting and laughing. Stan and Charlie were funny.

Stan and Charlie were both studying criminal justice at San Diego State University.

I'm going to get a refill! Anyone care for another drink? Chloe asked.

Water please? Charlie said, we have to get home soon.

Would you girls like to go with us to the beach tomorrow afternoon? Stan asked.

We'd love to! Bunny said. We can't stay all day. Bunny and I have aerobics and yoga tomorrow night.

That's fine! We have football practice early Monday morning. Charlie said.

We'll meet outside of Lana's place at 11 ?

Sounds great! I said, trying to sound enthusiastic. I was still a little scared. The guys were perfect gentlemen so far.

The guys followed Bunny and I, back to my place. Stan and Charlie walked us to my door. I knew they were fishing for a goodnight kiss. I took my cues from Bunny. Stan has eyes for Bunny. I could see Bunny holding Stan's hand. I felt Charlie touch my hand, I took it. Charlie lightly held my hand as we walked to my apartment.

I think Charlie could sense my hesitation and fear. For a football player he was actually very nice.

It's okay Lana! I won't hurt you! I like you Lana! You are very pretty!

You're very handsome too! I said.

Charlie was "Very Handsome" he looked a lot like the actor Jeffrey Donovan from the TV series "Burn Notice" with a bit more muscle.

As we reached my door I could sense the feeling I was going to have to kiss Charlie goodnight. I was really nervous. I knew it was coming, but I was confused and terrified. My first goodnight kiss from a guy!

I followed Bunny's lead on things.

Stan leaned down facing Bunny. She tiptoed and softly kissed Stan.

Thank you for seeing us home! Bunny said and kissed him again.

I had a great time, Lana! I'm glad we got to spend some time together! Charlie said with a sweet smile.

Me too! I squeaked.

He leans down for a kiss. I kissed his lips. I started to wobble a bit on my tiptoes. Charlie put his strong arms around my lower back and steadied me. He kissed me again with a little more depth for just a second or two longer. As nervous as I was, I liked it! I liked it a lot!

Careful, Lana! Charlie said.

Thank you! I squeaked again.

Charlie smiled, he thought it was cute!

We'll see you at 11? Stan asked.

We'll be ready! Bunny said confirming our beach date.

Bunny and I went inside. I started the shower and started putting things away. I was quiet the whole time. I didn't realize I was ignoring Bunny.

Lana! Are you alright? Bunny asked.

I'm okay!

You haven't said a word since you kissed Charlie!

Sorry, Hun! I guess I'm still wrapping my head around it!

You didn't do anything wrong, Lana! Charlie is a nice guy, so is Stan. Besides we are girls, we date guys! These guys are hot!

What about you and me? I asked.

Lana, we are still together, but when two hot guys ask us out, you say yes! Especially if they are willing to protect you! That says a lot about a guy. Come on! Let's order some Chinese food and relax. We have a big day tomorrow!

I was still nervous. I kept thinking, what is my Dad gonna to think about this! How will I explain it what if the guys don't know about us, what if they freak out? There was no way I could defend myself or Bunny! My mind was racing about all "what ifs" and "possible dangers".

Bunny and I ate dinner and talked about tomorrow and the beach. To say I was a little nervous was an understatement!

Lana, you are eventually going to be around men in one form or fashion! At least with Stan and Charlie we'll be safe! They've seen us around. My guess is they already know about us. Besides they live in your complex. If they were haters, we'd know it by now.

Bunny was right! I was overthinking the situation. Besides I haven't been to the beach since I got here.

Come on honey let's get cleaned up and ready for bed! Bunny said with a sexy smile.
