Leslie ended up spending the week with Molly and Lexi. Leslie was crying on and off for two days. Lexi went with Leslie to see her therapist. Lexi explained to Leslie's therapist what happened and what her parents said to Leslie. Lexi waited almost two hours in the waiting room for Leslie.
Leslie came out feeling much better. She was smiling for the first time in days. Leslie and Lexi picked up Zandra and me. We went to get a coffee at the mall and wandered around for a while.
We talked about school and clothes. Leslie started to relax a bit. We enjoyed hanging out with Leslie. She had a great sense of humor. We went to Claire's and bought some cheap earrings and matching anklets for all four of us.
On the way home to Molly's house, we talked with Leslie about classes coming up. Leslie was majoring in psychology and a minor in accounting. She was excited about starting school again. We didn't bring up her parents.
All three of us could tell she was still hurting from the previous week. We just wanted her to be focused on her transition and school. Lexi held her hand in the car for moral support.
It was a beautiful Thursday afternoon when we returned to Molly's house. Kurt was waiting for us to start the grill. Kurt smiled at us when we walked on the patio before jumping into the pool.
Kelly and Vanessa showed up minutes later and we all ate dinner outside together. We talked and laughed as the sun started to set. Vanessa and I went home after dinner. We both had our chores to do for Friday. I had a little reading I wanted to finish. Vanessa had her study group coming over on Sunday afternoon, and I was spending the weekend at Kelly's with Zandra, Lexi, and Tanya. We wanted to be ready for cheerleading tryouts on Monday.
Vanessa and Leslie both started school Monday at U of M. Kelly drove all of us to Cheer practice and Molly picked us up and dropped us off at our homes. Our squad looked pretty good on the first day. Tanya was pretty much considered the captain of our squad, even though we didn't have one yet. She was a natural leader.
Vanessa came home at 4 pm and had just closed the garage door when Mrs. Rockwell from Family Services arrived at the house. We haven't seen them all summer. As always, the house was clean and organized, and we received top marks for our living accommodations.
We had my sweet 16 birthday party on Columbus Day weekend. I invited the cheer squad and Leslie. We had the party at my house. Kurt had my Dad's Malibu detailed and then put a big red ribbon on it as a joke. Everyone laughed including me. I loved it.
Our school year sailed by at a lightning pace. At Christmas, we went to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, for a week. We took Leslie with us. Leslie still has her little studio apartment but was spending more time with Molly and Lexi.
In global news, the worldwide population was dropping birth rates were down all over the world. Petroleum prices and food prices were down. In the US violent crime was down by more than 20%. Third-world countries were showing growth in their economy.
With global and civil conflicts ending, the industry was growing, and people everywhere were starting new jobs. Illegal immigration was becoming a thing of the past. Farming and livestock were producing record numbers of food worldwide. Even the homeless rate was dropping.
The prison population dropped by more than 20% since 2028 in the US alone and we weren't the only country. Many third-world were now mining for rare earth metals and farming on lands once shrouded by war.
One major benefit to all of this worldwide tourism and travel were way up. Africa, Eastern Europe, and Mexico benefited greatly from the growth of the travel industry. Places like Israel, Palestine, Iran, and Iraq also benefited from sharing their history with the rest of the world. These countries, once torn by war, are now educational destinations sharing their part in the birth of modern civilization as we know it today.
There were still objections to the new laws governing Men as a whole. As long as violent crimes and conflicts were dropping. As a result of this decline, the testicle tax and age limits were adjusted. The rate of male convictions to females was reported at 5 to 1 half of the previous ratio five years ago.
Molly asked Leslie to move in with her and Lexi at the end of our sophomore year. Leslie accepted. I borrowed the Traverse, Lexi, and Molly brought the Tahoe, and Kurt brought his truck. We drove over to Leslie's apartment to move her out.
We walked in on Leslie's parents and two men trying to detain Leslie and drag her out of her apartment. Lexi called 911. Kurt was the first to rush to her aid.
Hold it right there! Kurt said in a deep thunderous voice without actually yelling.
The two men approached him with baseball bats. I thought to myself this was a big mistake on their part.
This is none of your business boy! Get out of our way!
Let go of her or this is going to go very bad for you! Kurt said with great confidence!
He's my son and we are taking him home! Wallace said.
She is a 20-year-old woman! And she obviously doesn't want to leave! Unhand her now! Kurt said.
The two men started walking towards Kurt, ready to swing their baseball bats at him.
Unless you want to know how a popsicle feels, I suggest you think about it first!
I was recording everything on my phone so was Zandra. Molly held us back. While Molly was afraid of a fight she knew Kurt could handle himself.
Let her go, Now! Kurt said firmly.
I've had enough of you! Wallace said. Wallace grabbed the bat out of the hand of one of the men and swung it at Kurt. Leslie fought the other man off and ran to Molly.
Kurt grabbed the bat in mid-swing and pulled it from Wallace's grip. Wallace was shocked at Kurt's strength.
That's the last chance you get! Leave Now! Kurt said.
Leslie's mother raced towards Molly trying to pull Leslie away.
The police arrived just as Leslie's mother started hitting Molly and Leslie.
The police arrested the two men and Leslie's parents for attempted kidnapping and assault.
The police questioned all of us. Zandra and I gave the police copies of the video we recorded.
The police complimented Kurt on his restraint in trying to de-escalate the situation. The day was wasted trying to move Leslie.
Leslie filed a restraining order against her parents and their church. After 30 days in the county jail, the charges were reduced, fines were paid, and Leslie's parents and the men were sent home. 10 years of house arrest and 20 years of probation. They weren't allowed to travel outside their county. Any violation would result in 20 years in prison.
The only reason they were allowed any leniency was due to no previous criminal records.
Leslie spent several weeks in therapy after the incident.
Over the summer, we took trips to the Huckleberry Railroad in Flint, Michigan. We took a long weekend and went to Detroit and went to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum.
We went to Cedar Point for a weekend, too.
Leslie was a regular fixture with us now. Where we went she went.
We were all 16 years old now. Lexi, Zandra, and I were practicing our cheer routines with Tanya by the pool when Lexi's father showed up unannounced. Lexi hasn't seen or heard from him in a year since the driveway scene. Leslie was studying in the kitchen and answered the door.
Who the hell are you! Jack said.
I'm Leslie! Who are you?
I'm Lex's father get out of the way!
Jack pushed Leslie aside and stormed through the house and out to the pool.
Lexi! Come with me! We need to talk! Jack demanded.
Dad, you can't be here! You're violating the restraining order mom filed! Lexi said.
I don't care! You're, my son! I have a right to see you! Jack said.
Dad! You need to leave! Lexi said. Ronnie, call my Mom!
Put the phone down! Or I'll put you down! Jack said.
I called Molly and put it on speaker. Zandra called 911.
You're coming with me right now! Jack said.
No Dad! I'm not!
Tanya was recording it on her phone.
Jack went to grab Lexi.
I wouldn't do that if I was you! Leslie said.
Jack turned around and Leslie was recording him with her phone.
For your information, the door cameras recorded you breaking and entering! Leslie said.
You need to leave, Now!
I'm not leaving without my son! Jack said.
Dad! I'm not your son! I'm your daughter now! Accept it or don't, I don't care! But the police are coming and you will be arrested!
You need to leave sir! Leslie said flatly.
Please, Dad! Just go! Lexi said.
Jack bowed his head and left in defeat. Jack was walking back to his car when Molly and the police arrived.
Molly explained that she had filed a restraining order on him.
Jack was given a summons to appear before a judge and released.
At the end of our sophomore year of high school, Lexi, Zandra, and I all received our tranquility treatment at the same time. Tanya visited us while we recovered. We were very happy. No more chastity cage. A month after my tranquility surgery Vanessa adopted me.
Our Junior and senior in school was a lot of fun. We aced all our classes. Leslie was graduating summa cum laude with her bachelor's degree. She was one of only twelve students accepted at U of M for graduate school. Leslie applied for Law school. Originally Leslie was going to be a psychologist. After everything she went through she decided to become a lawyer to help people like herself.
Lexi, Zandra, and I all checked into the hospital the week after we graduated high school. We all had our Gender Reassignment Surgery within a day of each other. Leslie checked into the hospital two days later for her GRS.
We all recovered together at Molly's house. Kurt, Molly, Kelly, and Vanessa rotated caring for us.
Two weeks after our surgeries Molly got a phone call. It was Lexi's Dad, Jack.
Hi Jack! Molly said sounding disgusted.
Molly, I'm sorry! I'm sorry about everything! I want to see my daughter! Please! I promise I won't cause any trouble! I need to see my little girl, please! I want to make peace.
I don't know Jack! You know she is recovering from Gender Reassignment Surgery, and all of her friends are here, too. I have four girls recovering from surgery. I don't need a war zone in my home right now. My girls need their rest!
Please, Molly, I swear I won't cause any trouble. I just want to see her.
Jack, I'm not sure this is a good idea! Molly said.
Can I come over, please? I would like to show you something. I promise if you don't like what I have to say, I'll leave; please, Molly, give me five minutes to explain in person.
Okay, Jack! You can come over, just to talk. If I don't like what I hear, you leave without seeing my daughter. Molly stated.
Deal! Thank you, Molly, I'll be right over.
Fifteen minutes later the doorbell rang. Kurt opened the door.
Hello Jack! Kurt extended his hand for a handshake. Jack shook his hand.
Kurt, is it! I'm very sorry about the last time we met. It was my fault! I promise I'm not here to cause any trouble.
No problem Jack!
I wanted to thank you, Kurt!
For what? Kurt asked.
I know I don't act like it. But Molly and Lexi are the two people I care about the most. I'm thankful that you are looking after them. I'm glad Molly and Lexi have you. Thank you!
Lexi is a great girl, Jack. Her friends are good girls too! Lexi is like a daughter to me. You're very lucky to have such a great kid, Jack.
Please take everything slow today, Jack.
I will Kurt. Thanks.
Molly, can we talk in private? Jack asked.
Sure, let's talk in the kitchen.
Molly, I know I've been a lousy husband and father. I can't make it up to you or Lexi. But I can apologize. I am very sorry for my actions, not just recently, but everything.
I'm not asking to get back together, I'm not asking for joint custody or to reduce your alimony. I just ask for your forgiveness and Lexi's. I need to show you something!
Jack started taking off his pants off.
Jack! Molly said
It's okay, Molly. I need you to see this.
Molly hesitated; Jack was very calm and moving slowly without the typical male ego he used to throw around.
Jack pulled down his boxers. He lifted his penis.
Take a look, Molly! I won't be hurting anyone. I underwent tranquility treatment. After my last visit, the judge ordered me to be tested. My Testosterone levels were off the charts. It wasn't required, but I was given the choice of therapy and the tranquility option.
I've been much calmer, things are great at work. I feel better and happier and I'm a lot less angry. Molly, I'm glad you have Kurt. I'm not looking to ruin your life or relationship. I just want a chance to undo some of the damage I caused to our child.
I don't want to miss walking her down the aisle! Please, I just want to talk to her.
Okay, Jack! Wait here, I'll ask her! But keep it civil!
Thank you, Molly.
Molly went upstairs where all of us were resting. The four of us were watching "Gone With the Wind" when Molly walked in.
Lexi, your father is downstairs, he wants to talk to you. Molly said.
What does he want, Mom? I'm a little weak at the moment. Lexi said.
He wants to apologize to you. I think he means it this time. Please, just give him 5 minutes. If you don't like what he has to say just walk away. I'll be close by.
Okay, Mom.
Molly and Lexi walked downstairs together. Lexi was a week post-op of surgery and moving slowly. Jack heard them coming downstairs. Both Jack and Kurt extended their hands as they reached the bottom of the stairs. Jack put his arm gently around Lexi and walked her into the dining room.
Lexi and her father talked quietly for almost half an hour. Molly and Kurt would glance at them from time to time. Lexi had a slight smile on her face. Jack was calm, he held Lexi's hands on the table part way through as they talked together.
I've never seen Jack so calm and cool! Molly said.
Tranquility treatment can be very beneficial for high-strung people like Jack. I had a few friends from my younger days that were very wild. Since their treatment, they are far better behaved. With the supplements they are prescribed, they can still be a man in the bedroom. Kurt said.
I knew about the results from the news, but it was almost a miracle watching them talk like this. Jack could never sit and talk for more than five minutes.
He has a good heart, Molly he just didn't have control of himself. Kurt said. Come on let's start dinner. I'm sure the girls will be hungry soon.
Molly kissed Kurt on the lips and they started dinner together.
Excuse me! Jack, would you like to stay for dinner? Kurt asked.
Lexi, would you like it if I stayed for dinner? Jack asked.
Yes, Dad! Please stay. I'd like you to meet my friends.
I'd love to, Lexi! Thank you!
Lexi hugged her father for the first time in over two years. Jack kissed her forehead.
I'm proud of you Lexi! Jack hugged Lexi.
Kurt grilled chicken breast on the barbecue. Jack and Molly made a Salad. Vanessa and Kelly joined us for Dinner. We had a nice dinner together.
I thought Jack was going to be jealous of Kurt. As it turned out Jack was actually happy to see Molly and Lexi so happy with everyone. Jack told stories about his time in London and going to Paris and Geneva. Jack spoke French. It sounded like a beautiful language.
Two weeks later, Jack arranged to have a belated high school graduation party for Lexi. It was a surprise party for Lexi. We had it at Kelly's house. Molly invited all our friends and parents.
Jack gave Lexi a brand-new Subaru Trek. It was metallic Orange. Jack also told Molly to send him all her tuition bills. Lexi hugged him. The three of us were all accepted to U of M for college. Jack was a U of M alumni member.
I was in the Accounting program. Lexi was majoring in political science, and Zandra was majoring in business. We spent much of our spare time studying over the summer just like we did in high school. It was a good thing we did, because the workload was enormous.
Vanessa was in medical school at U of M. She barely had time for anything except school, work, and sleeping. I was 18 now and we didn't have to worry about foster care anymore. I had more free time than she did. I did most of the chores and errands. Vanessa still did the yard work.
Sunday study sessions were a thing of the past now. Vanessa and I still managed to do Sunday night dinner together. I would cook or we would have dinner delivered. I managed to get through four years of college while living at home and driving Dad's Malibu.
Vanessa was in residency when I graduated college. We went to the Jeep dealership a week after I graduated and I finally got my Jeep Rubicon. It was plum crazy purple. I loved it. Vanessa was still driving the Traverse.
I was accepted to Law school at U of M. Thanks to Vanessa and my parents all being alumni. Lexi's Dad, Jack, wrote me a letter of recommendation. Mrs Hass wrote me one as well.
Leslie graduated Magna cum laude from law school. She passed the bar exam the first time. She got a job in a law firm in Grand Rapids Michigan. She never heard from her parents again. We still keep in touch with her. Lexi and Molly talk to her all the time. Leslie considers Molly her mother.
Zandra went to grad school at Indiana University. She and Tanya got married after graduation. A year later thank to Invitro Tanya was pregnant. Lexi and I were on and off during college. Not because we had issues with each other. We were both experimenting and our schedules were never the same.
Lexi and I renewed our relationship 3 years after graduating from grad school and got married in Las Vegas. We hired a surrogate, and each of us had a baby with her using Invitro. We both had girls.
I was a tax attorney, and Lexi was now a corporate attorney like her Dad. Jack got us both jobs at his law firm.
Molly and Kurt got married. Lexi was her maid of honor. Kelly, Vanessa, Leslie, Zandra, and I were bridesmaids.
It's been over ten years since the gender laws were put in place worldwide. Crime is down by more than 90%. Global conflict is a thing of the past. Terrorism is also a thing of the past. The worldwide unemployment rate is under 3%.
The United Children's Fund announced that the worldwide hunger rate was below 2%.
Borders were opening worldwide to countries once considered not safe for travel. World history was being shared and studied by every culture, especially the food!
The prison population was cut in half. The debt most countries had was dropping every year. Medical Research was on the Rise. Nuclear power plants were being built in every country. Even birth defect rates in newborns were dropping.
The entire planet was benefiting from cleaner energy and a decrease in population. Alternative Lifestyles were now as normal as straight lifestyles. Many subcultures were born from this. People were now more informed and accepting.
Now don't get me wrong! The world isn't perfect or pure paradise. There are lots of issues to be solved and dealt with. The world is getting better. Violence, Harassment, and Hate are not as common as it once was.
A recent study amongst males ages 14 to 50 across 200 top universities and laboratories worldwide discovered a shrinking in the hypothalamus of the male brain, and the concentration of testosterone was dropping in men.
As a result, men's medication was being adjusted, and chastity laws were adjusted for men.
The programs for transition were still in place for everyone who wanted them. But boys now could choose to dress as they wanted too. Sports programs for all sports were now to both boys and girls and transition children of all ages.
Chastity laws were rewritten as the first measure of punishment for potential sexual offenders. The male incarceration tax, or "testicle tax," was reduced by 50% for five years as a test to see if sexual assault rates would continue to drop.
Vanessa met a very nice Transgender woman in her yoga class. They got married at city hall. Lexi and I were witnesses. I sold my parent's home. Lexi and I bought a beautiful 5 bedroom, 5 and half bathroom home outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. We also bought a 4-bedroom home in Orlando, Florida. We plan to retire in Florida.
Our girls are growing up so fast. We love them to death! Our girls call Vanessa Grandma.
So many things have happened since my parents passed away and these laws took effect. Mrs Haas said to me once that it was nothing short of a miracle how Vanessa and I survived everything.
I told her it wasn't a single miracle, it was five. Vanessa, Molly, Lexi, Kelly, and Zandra. We stuck together through everything.
The other day I woke up as I stepped out of the shower. I looked into the mirror. I saw my mom and dad with my reflection in the mist. They were standing side by side smiling, a loving smile. I smiled back at them. I could swear they mouthed, "We love you." Just then my daughters rushed into the bathroom. Mommy, Mommy!
I turned away for just a second and my parents were gone. I started to cry a little until my girls hugged me.
Lexi walked in. Hey beautiful Get dressed! We're going to be late for Leslie's engagement party!
Be right there babe!
Sorry everyone, I have to go! My social calendar calls!
The End
