Mine are a darker pink and Frost white. Sara added a black pinstripe bordering the white and pink with 2 black chevrons on the thumb, the middle, and pinky fingers with black rhinestone hearts on each pinky.

Alexis says lunch is served. We walked to a small room with a table, chairs, and a flat-screen screen TV playing a movie. It's The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. We are given small chicken Caesar salads and small bottles of water.

Now, normally, most Salon stylists would snub people having this much money to spend on extravagant clothes and shoes.

What most people outside this salon don't know is that these ladies are well-paid and earn every dollar. Alexis told me she averages almost 4 thousand in tips and Almost 2 thousand of them are in cash monthly.

Sabine comes over. Helix on each side for Bree. They clean and triple-check check my marks and placement. On three at the same time pierce both ears at once.

I breathe out. Wow, that stings. But it's over.

They use special solid rings with no beads.

Then Alexis says damn!

What? I asked 

Ms Stapleton wants your septum changed. Hang on she says. She comes back with a solid ring like the helix rings. Slightly smaller than the one in it now.

You're in the office now, Bree. You need a slightly smaller septum to look a bit more professional. She swaps it out and hardly even smudges my makeup. She touches me up.

Now it's hair time. Alexis said.

Again our backs to the mirror. I haven't seen our makeup yet.

Our shower cap and nets are taken off. I watch as Sabine takes out Judy's rollers. At this angle, I can't see my reflection. Judy's hair, instead of mousey brown, is lighter and brighter with multiple tones highlights, and I can see a newfound bounce and body to it. Judy's hair is getting styled and blown out.

Alexis is still taking out my rollers. I have at least 5 times the rollers she has. My hair is a lot longer now than it ever was. My hair was passed my shoulder blades when we came in.

Alexis gives me bangs straight as can be from eyebrow to eyebrow. Using a hair band she holds all my hair back so I can't even see the color. She starts brushing, blowing, and fluffing my hair.

Judy's hair looks incredible. It's 3 shades lighter and with high and low lights. It's a gorgeous golden brown; it's perfect for her skin tone.

Judy's staring at me. Her jaw is wide open. I am so excited to see it. Alexis grabs my shoulders and says you ready, baby girl.

1, 2, 3. She spins the chair.

My jaw drops.

My hair is Ruby red, with light red and pink highlights. No black in it. My hair matches my red, pink, and black smokey eye. Black hair pins holding back an avalanche of ringlets just behind my ears. My Helix piercings look great. My new golden septum looks sexy and it looks professional.

I change back into my leather Mini skirt and jacket combo.

It's 7:05 pm. We head back to Judy's apartment.
