One Boy's Journey Chapter 59

Written by Brianna Demonet

Over the next two weeks, I only received one call from John and a couple of texts. I knew he was busy, It took everything I had to not worry why I hadn't heard more from him.

After two months of John being gone things at my office were heating up. I was assigned my first major case, A triple homicide. The accused is a very wealthy real estate developer.

The physical evidence was overwhelming. The District Attorney, Mr Kinkade, called me into his office that very morning. Up till now I never really talked to him that much. I didn't know much about him except he was a very respected Attorney.

His assistant announced me, and I went into his office.

Rianna Stevens, I don't think we've officially met, I'm Travis Kinkade. It's nice to meet you.

It's a pleasure, sir. I said smiling.

I'm sure you have already guessed why you are hear, so I'll get straight to the point.

I'm assigning you to the Haskell case. Normally we don't assign cases like this to attorneys with your level of experience, but that shouldn't mean you aren't capable of doing the job!

I've noticed here you have several smaller murder trial convictions already in your time with us.

Yes sir.

I also noticed here that you clerked for Judge Harris as well.

Yes sir, Judge Harris is a great mentor.

I have also seen Michael Walker in action in court a few months ago, sir I also studied several of his cases at Stanford.

That's good! Because Michael Walker was just retained by Mr Haskell this morning. Normally, I would have this case reassigned to a more experienced attorney, but due to the current situation, it's not possible.

I can handle it, sir! I've seen him in action before. I'll be prepared. I've got a very solid case against Mr Haskell.

I had breakfast with Cathy Elgin this morning. She told me you're a brilliant attorney, she called you a Megalodon Shark.

I like to think so sir! Cathy has been my role model since I was 13 years old.

Well, you're going to have your chance to prove yourself. Because you're being thrown into the deep water with another Megalodon Shark. A Shark that has a record of getting his clients off or greatly reduced sentences.

Especially this office! That has to change, especially in this case! Anything less than 30 without parole is unacceptable. We need this conviction! If this case gets tossed on a technicality heads will roll!

You can count on me, sir! I won't let you down!

I'm assigning Lewis Talbot as your primary investigator. If you need any support or guidance you come to me directly! I will ensure that you have every available resource this office has.

My other cases? I asked.

They are currently being reassigned. You eat, breathe, and live this case until it's finished.

Make no mistake Ms Stevens, this case is the kind of case that can make or break a career. Make this case and your future is assured! Lose it and you'll be chasing ambulances for the remainder of your career practicing law!

Yes, sir, I understand!

I hope so! Just remember if you need anything, call me! Asking for help is not a weakness, especially with the army of attorneys you'll be facing.

Any questions? Mr Kinkade asked.

I could really use a paralegal, sir.

Just one? He asked.

Olivia Santiago, sir! We've worked together several times and I trust her!

She's only worked here barely a year, are you sure?

Yes sir! I could use a bigger office temporarily of course.

Done! If you win this case, I will see it becomes your permanent office, deal?

Deal!

We shook hands.

Good luck Ms Stevens. I will send Lewis and Olivia to your current desk within the hour. Olivia will have your new office assignment when she arrives.

Thank you, sir!

Get to work!

Yes sir!

45 minutes later Lewis and Olivia showed up.

Lewis was a retired San Francisco homicide detective. He was the best investigator in our office and a very nice man.

Olivia Santiago was a very perky and energetic person. She wanted to go to law school someday and was very resourceful.

Olivia handed me my office assignment. It was a vacant Breau chief office. It had a larger desk and a small conference table. It also had a television, a couch, and a coffee table.

I sat everyone down.

What's going on Ms Stevens? Asked Lewis.

First things first, in my office please call me Ree!

Secondly, I've just been assigned the Haskell Homicides. The three of us are going to be working on this case exclusively until it's finished. I hope you both like overtime because you're both going to be working a lot. So make darn sure you document your hours so I can approve them.

Detective, you're the best investigator I know. I want you to go through everything with a fine toothcomb. If you need anything from forensics ask for Lt. Steve Mills and drop my name.

Olivia, you're the best I know at research. I want you to pull and research every murder case Michael Walker has defended in the last ten years.

We have what appears to be a rock-solid case! If there are any cracks we need to find them and fix them.

Any questions? I asked.

Who's buying lunch? Asked Lewis with a smile.

Today is my treat! I hope you like Korean. I smiled back.

We settled in for the long term. The trial begins in three months and I really wanted to be ready.

Over the next two and a half months, I was working 12 and 14 hours a day. My staff worked as much if not more. I had several meetings with DA Kinkade on different strategies and tactics. He's a brilliant attorney himself.

Detective Talbot (Lewis) went through the entire investigation from start to finish. He noticed that the police didn't investigate alternative suspects. He worked with the homicide detectives who worked the case to eliminate any possible suspects.

Olivia was a machine! She broke down every case Michael Walker tried or pleaded out in the last ten years. She was extremely organized. She reminds me of Becky. No details were missed.

We were working over 80 hours a week including Saturdays. All the time Mr Haskell was on house arrest at his own expense.

I had several meetings with Mr Walker over those two months. His plea bargains were a joke. He finally came to me a week before the trial with an offer that was almost acceptable.

My client and I have an offer! Mr Walker said.

Go on! I said.

1st degree Manslaughter. My client will pay for the expenses of continued house arrest for twenty years, no parole! He said.

Who does your client think he is? Pablo Escobar? I asked, almost laughing at my own joke.

I'm afraid the best I can do is murder 3 and 30 years of incarceration.

My client won't accept that. Mr Walker said.

I'm sure he won't! I'll take your offer to the DA but don't hold your breath! I said.

I'd like to talk to DA and bring it to him.

Let me call him.

Olivia, would you call DA Kinkade, please?

Yes Ma'am!

Ree! How are things going?

Very well sir! You're on speaker. I have Mr Walker with me. He has a plea offer.

I'm listening. Mr Kinkade said.

1st-degree manslaughter, 20 years house arrest at Mr Haskell's expense.

Mr Walker, the last time I checked, we weren't in Columbia, and your client isn't Pablo Escobar!
No deal!

Sir, I strongly request you to reconsider. Mr Walker said with a great degree of confidence.

How about 25 years of house arrest. My client won't survive prison, it would be a death sentence. My client is willing to spend whatever it takes to defend himself in court.

That's good to hear, Mr Walker! Because my office has a blank check for his prosecution! Mr Kinkade said.

Your attorney is in way over her head, Mr Kinkade I strongly urge you to reconsider. The state is already over budget, and prisons are overcrowded. My Walker said.

Maybe so Mr Walker, but there is always room for another murderer! Mr Kinkade said.

Ree! Pick up the phone Mr Kinkade said.

I took the phone off the speaker.

Yes sir, I'll tell him. Thank you, sir!

Well?

Mr Kinkade said Murder 3 and 30 years without the possibility of parole. He also said to tell your client to prepare for a very long prison stay.

I'll see you in court counselor! Mr Walker said.

Until then! Have a nice day! I smiled at him as he left.

The trial lasted almost four weeks. The evidence I had was damning, to say the least. The nanny can catch everything, including audio. The picture was grainy but the audio was crystal clear.

Mr Walker tried a third-party defense, but it fell apart. The work Lewis did was masterful. With his work with the homicide detectives, there was no doubt they had the right person.

Olivia found a few tactics that Mr Walker tried to use to confuse the jury. Thanks to her I was ready.

Mr Walker put up expert witnesses from all over the country. The last expert he put up was trying to explain another way the blood was on his clothes.

I did a little research on my own and found out his expert witnesses were on the no-fly list. When I brought that up any credibility he had was gone.

I kept my closing argument short. About 30 minutes. I showed the Nanny cam footage and broke down the timeline from an hour before the murder to when the police arrived.

Mr Walker was very long-winded and went on for two hours about small discrepancies in the case and the investigation. He tried everything to poke a hole anywhere he could.

I'll say this, I almost bought it, but the facts were far too damning.

The jury was sent to deliberate the case.

It was Wednesday at 2 pm when the jury started deliberating. I took Lewis and Olivia for coffee.

No matter how this turns out, I could not ask for a better team! You two were great! I am so proud of you two, If you guys ever need anything, just ask! I owe you both!

It was after 5 pm when the jury came back.

I'll spare you the details, but Cecil Haskell was found guilty on all three accounts of Second-degree murder. 30 years, each one runs concurrently.

He was sent to the Pelican Bay State Prison.

The three of us went out for a drink at O'Malley's

It was a popular bar for Prosecutors and cops.

There was a huge amount of cheering and clapping.

Half of my office was there with Mr Kinkade.

There's my Rock Stars! Congratulations! Mr Kinkade said.

Thank you, sir, we all said!

Great work guys, I really mean it! This was a huge victory for the people of San Francisco and the state of California.

You guys take the rest of the week off, relax, get some sleep, go spend time with your families! I don't want to see you three until Monday! That's an order! Mr Kinkade said.

My team and I didn't pay for a drink that night. Mr Kinkade bought our dinner there too.

I caught a ride home with a couple of cops. I went upstairs to the apartment showered, and fell asleep. I woke up the following morning to my phone ringing.

It was Aunt V.

Hi Aunt V!

Guess what sweetheart?

Is your book finished? I said.

Better It's getting published!

What! That's great news!

I'm throwing a huge party! You have to be here! Lexi and Emma are coming! Your Dad is doing meat I'm catering everything else! Please tell me you can come!

It just so happens I have the rest of the week off. Can you pick me up at the airport?

I sure can. Aunt V said.

Don't tell my parents I want to surprise them.

Thursday afternoon, I landed at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. I haven't been home in almost a year. I have not been at my house in over two years. I tried to pack light, but I still ended up with one huge bag and garment bag plus my carry-on.

The nice thing about living in San Francisco was getting direct flights to Vegas was easy and not super expensive. I met Aunt V at the curb and loaded up, and we were on our way.

Aunt V knocked on the front door of my house.

V! Everything alright? You know you can go through the garage. My mom said.

I know, Brenda; I just came from the airport and found something you lost.

I walked around the corner.

Ree!!! Oh my gosh!

Hi mom! I dropped my bags and hugged her.

Oh, baby, I missed you!

I missed you too, Mom!

Is Dad around? He's in the garage as usual!

I want to surprise him!

Mom hesitated.

Let me get him he might be dirty or in the middle of something. Mom said

Okay. I said. I knew something was up. Mom wasn't very good at being sneaky with me. We were too close for too long.

Dan, I need your help! Mom shouted.

Be right there, Bren!

Dad was in his coveralls.

Hi Daddy!

Ree!!! Oh!! Aren't you a sight for sore eyes!

Let me get cleaned up sweetheart.

I thanked Aunt V and said goodbye.

Stop by after breakfast; I know Martina is dying to see you; she asks about you all the time. Aunt V said.

I'll be there! I said as I hugged and kissed her cheek.

I was just about to start dinner, but I was a little tired, sweetheart. Would you mind if we went out for a bite? Mom asked.

Sure, Mom, it will give us more time to catch up.

Let me get showered quickly, I'll be right back! Dad said.

Mom and I had coffee while Dad showered.

We talked about Aunt V's party. She told me Aunt V and Taylor snuck off to Vermont and got married. They are very happy.

Lexi was working as a psychologist part-time for Aunt V as she finished medical school. She planned to get her SRS surgery over Christmas so she wouldn't miss much school.

I felt guilty about not knowing. Emma was just finishing up with school for patent law. I was so behind on my friends and their accomplishments. I wanted to catch up with everyone at home.

Dad was acting a little strange, he said the garage was messy and asked us to walk out the front door. I started getting suspicious about why the garage was messy. In the ten years I've known Dad; he never left the garage messy.

We went to the Black Bear Diner for dinner. I was still wearing my pencil skirt suit from the flight.

We walked in and Vicki hugged me. Where have you been hiding? Vicki asked.

San Francisco.

That's right I saw you on the news this week. Did you win?

Yes, we did! He will be in prison for 30 years!

We? Vicki asked.

I didn't do it by myself! I had a great staff and great support from our DA, Mr Kinkade. Mr Walker is a great attorney, beating him in court is a big win for everyone.

You look great Ree! All grown up! I'm very happy for you. Are you married?

Not yet Vicki, someday maybe. My career keeps getting in the way.

Don't wait too long no career is worth sacrificing your happiness! Vicki said.

Alright folks, what will you have? Vicki asked.

We talked about everything. They asked me about John and my work at the DA's office. I told them about John and the kids and our trip to the vineyard.

Mom was getting ready for the Bar exam in a couple of weeks. She was working part-time at The Fountain Law firm. Dad was working part-time at a local custom car and motorcycle shop. He said he loved it.

Mom told me Dad was restoring his old pickup truck.

They don't make them like they used to! Said Dad.

Again, I found that suspicious, too. Dad's truck was in perfect shape two years ago. It was an old 2006 GMC 2500 LT Duramax diesel. He taught me how to drive in that truck as well as Mom's Audi.

We finished dinner and went home. I unpacked and went to bed in my old room. I found it very comforting that everything was still the same.

The next morning I went for a swim. I did my laps for about an hour. I went inside and changed into some jeans and a T-shirt and went over to Aunt V's.

Without thinking about I walked through the garage and out the side door. I noticed Mom's car was gone already and there was a car on Dad's car lift covered. I just figured it was his Corvette. I forgot about how dodgy they were about the garage the night before.

I rang the doorbell and Martina answered the door. She looked great.

Ree!!! She hugged and kissed me. I hugged and kissed her cheek.

It's been forever! You look beautiful sweetie!

Thank you! You look great, too! I said. She really did.

Come in! I was just making breakfast are you hungry?

Yes, please! I said.

She made me her Mexican scrambled eggs. We sat down and talked. Aunt V came she was getting ready for work. Being there and watching Aunt V descend down the stairs brought back a lot of happy memories. My Aunt V is still drop-dead gorgeous.

So tell me all about being a big-time Attorney. Martina asked. I started telling her about my life over the last couple of years. She was very interested in the subject of "John".

I told her about the visit we had together at the vineyard with his children.

Taylor came downstairs. She looked a little different. Her breasts looked bigger, she had bleach blonde hair and her figure was more shapely than I remembered.

Her skirt had a very low waist and hung halfway to her knees, and it was tight! She had on a tight pink half-T-shirt that exposed her entire midriff. I could see she had several hip dermals like me. She had wrap-around tattoos under her breasts and under-around her naval. She looked like a tattoo model.

Good morning Ree! Taylor said. We hugged and kissed.

Taylor, you look incredible! I noticed Taylor had four dermals in her cleavage.

Thank you, sweetie!

She noticed I was studying her.

Yes, I've had some work done. Taylor stated. Being the owner of an award-winning salon, I have to be kinda a model for the business. I'm especially proud of these!

She turned around, and her pink bow tattoos were just below the bottom of her ass.

So I take it business is good?

Better than good. I have a two-week waiting list. Vanessa and I bought a building and expanded the salon. It's been busy and I love it! You wouldn't believe how many of the country club women we pierced and tattooed.

Mrs Fountain? I asked.

She's a pin cushion, Ree! She's one of my best Clients. Cheryl has several as well. Most of the women at the country club have permanent makeup or piercings now. My high-end clients are endless.

We talked for a few more minutes and Aunt V and Taylor went to work. I asked Martina where Lexi was.

Lexi is still sleeping upstairs. She had a late-night study session. She always sleeps in on Fridays. She should be up soon.

Do you mind if I wake her up?

You're a big girl! Do what you have to do! Martina winked at me.

I went upstairs to my old room (Lexi's room). I opened the door quietly. She was wearing a sheer black bodysuit. Her blonde hair was almost white. She looked as beautiful as I remembered.

She was still the girl of my dreams as a boy. I took off my t-shirt and skinny jeans, slid under the sheets beside her, and spooned her. I loved Lexi. She was my first love and crush.

I doubt any two people were as close as we are. I wrapped my arms around her and started delivering soft kisses and playing with her nipples.

She started moaning softly while she slept. Ohh! Ree she moaned.

All of a sudden she spun her body in bed.

Ree! OMG! She squealed.

Hi baby! I said we kissed passionately.

Our feelings towards each other took over, and soon we were making love like we did after my break up with John. I forgot how passionate my best friend was. It didn't take us long to rekindle our passion for each other.

The stress each of us had in life drifted away as we shared our mutual love and affection for each other. Lexi is an amazing lover. She taught me everything about pleasing your lovers.

Lexi went down on me. She loved my new piercings. She had four tongue studs and made great use of them pleasing me. I haven't had sex in months.

The waves of pleasure she gave me were endless! I played with her nipples and used a rabbit vibrator in her sweet hole at the same time. Lexi was almost screaming with pleasure.

We both knew Martina could hear us. We didn't care. We were adults now. Lexi began shaking uncontrollably. I stopped after about five minutes of her shaking.

Morning baby I missed you! I said.

Ohh Ree!!! She hugged me. We kissed deeply.

What time is it?

9:30, Why?

I have a test at Eleven! I gotta fly!

Ree, I'm sorry! I gotta go!

So go! Dinner tonight? I asked

Sure! I'll call the girls! We can all catch up before the party tomorrow. Lexi said.

Come over at 5 o'clock tonight, bring clothes for clubbing, if you have any? Lexi said. We'll get ready together.

I'll buy something if I have to! I said. I kissed her goodbye and went downstairs and chatted with Martina for a couple minutes and left.

I went back to my house. I went through the garage again and straight into the house. I asked Mom if I could borrow her car.

Uhh!!! Let me ask Dan, first.

Why? I asked.

Just wait a minute! Please! Stay right here!

Mom went into the garage.

Mom came back with Dad.

Sweetheart, we have something to show you! Mom said.

I was hoping to do this for your birthday. But I don't think the secret is going to be kept. It's mostly finished now. Said Dad.

Come outside I'll show you! Said mom.

Mom led me out of the front door and around to the garage.

The Garage door opened, and I heard a loud, thunderous engine start-up.

Dad backed out of the Garage in a 69 Camaro convertible. It was styled as an SS/RS. It was a black metallic purple with black metallic stripes. It had a black leather interior with custom bucket seats and five-point seatbelts.

It had custom polished aluminum wheels styled like the old GM rally wheels. The 3-inch dual exhaust rumbled deeply. It was music to my ears. It was similar to the poster I had in my bedroom when we lived in the double-wide when I was a boy.

I was in shock! I couldn't speak.

What do you think, Ree?

It's beautiful!

It's all yours! Dan said! Happy early birthday!

We love you, sweetheart! We are both so proud of you!

You shouldn't have! I said.

How did you know this was my favorite car? I asked.

I figured it was special considering it was the only poster in your room that was framed. Dan said.

But I haven't seen that poster since I left Ohio!

I saved it! It's stored in the basement. It didn't go well with the rest of your room. Mom said.

I hugged them both. Thank you! I love it!

Wanna go for a ride? Dad asked.

You have to be careful. It's as powerful as my Corvette. Everything has been upgraded. It has an LS-2 6.2 liter V-8, 8-speed automatic transmission, modern air conditioning, power windows, and seats. Upgraded 4-wheel disc brakes.

It looks new! I said. Where did you get it?

It's better than new. I bought it and built it just for you Ree! It took me three years to finish it. Your mom picked out the paint colors. She even helped me with the interior work.

I don't know what to say! I said.

Then don't say anything, let's go for a drive! Dad said.

Dan went through the whole car with me before I started it up. He had the dashboard customized with a modern stereo with a backup camera and GPS. The instruments were original style but new. The bucket seats fit me like a glove.

I started the car up. It purred like a kitten when it idled. I backed up at idle speed. Mom asked me to put the top up. I did. I idled out of the driveway slowly. I stopped and put the car in drive. When I hit the gas the way they usually did, the tires squealed.

Easy Ree, this isn't an SUV. Dad said.

I can see that! I said with a big smile. I drove through the neighborhood for a little while to get the feeling of the car. I also saw many new neighbors and a few new homes being built.

I drove out to the country club, turned around, and headed home. I dropped off my parents and headed to John's parent's house. I wanted to see if Yon or Jii was home.

No one was home, so I decided to try the restaurant and Studio next. Sure enough, they were both there.

We shared a coffee and talked for a while. I was invited over to the house at 3 pm. I explained I had to meet up with my friends at 5. Yon said that would be fine

I called Lexi and asked her what she had in mind for an outfit.

Girl, you have a body! You need a latex bodycon dress, preferably a mini dress! And don't forget the matching shoes. Go to the mall! Next to Macy's check out Exotic Apparel. Ask for Ruthie! She'll take of you!

I had plenty of time, and I really was enjoying my Camaro. There was no way I was driving this beast tonight. I took the example Becky and Brianna gave me. When parked the car at the mall.

I flirted a little with the Valet and tipped him fifty to keep my car safe. I told him I would be very appreciative! The young man was putty in my hands. There are some definite advantages to being a woman.

Ruthie and I spent an hour finding the right dress. I wear tight clothes all the time. These Latex dresses were so tight it was like a second skin. I ended up buying two dark cherry red and dark purple, with shoes to match.

Both dresses had an open front exposing my naval. The dresses came with fingerless gloves that went up my forearms. I bought a set of costume gold jewelry to go with it. I had five pairs of hoop earrings that went from small to large and a gold chain necklace.

Ruthie talked me into a costume gold waist chain that attacked my naval piercings. I also bought a special bra and panties for the dresses to be less showy.

Ruthie said realistically you shouldn't need to wear panties at all with the dress. You don't want to ruin the line of dress.

Here is a complimentary bottle of skin powder Put this on before you put on the dress. It will help when you take the dress off and help keep you comfortable while wearing it.

If your skin has a reaction to the dress you can bring back the unworn dress for a full refund.

Ruthie was very helpful with instructions for taking care of the dresses and how to put them on and take them off. I was half tempted to walk out wearing it. But I didn't!

I stopped at the Urban Decay makeup counter and bought matching makeup and nail polish for my new dresses. After spending over 1500 dollars in an hour and a half, I was finished.

Billy, the Valet, saw me coming and ran to get my Camaro. He came back with my car and held the door for me. He took my bags and put them in the back. I walked around the car with a sway in my hips.

What a beautiful car he said.

Thank you, Billy! I said as I handed him my ticket. And a twenty-dollar bill. I touched his hand softly and kissed his cheek. He blushed.

You're welcome, Miss!

I revved the engine a little bit, put the car in gear, and drove to Yon's house. Yon and Jii welcomed me inside. All three kids rushed me as sat at the kitchen table. I hugged all the girls first. They were very happy to see me.

I saw Caleb sitting alone, my heart felt broken for him. He's not even 6 years old, and he's been through so much.

Caleb come here! I padded my lap!

He smiled a little.

He hopped on my lap.

How are you, young man? I asked as I hugged him tightly.

I'm lonely! I miss my daddy!

I know that feeling! Just remember he loves you very much. You also have two grandparents who love you very much too!

Do you love me, Ree?

Yes, Caleb! I love you and your sisters.

Are you staying? Caleb asked.

No, sweetie, I can't stay long. I'm in town for my family. I just want to check on you kids and say hello.

Hey, I got a great Idea, Do you want to go for another ride?

In what? Caleb asked.

Come on kiddo, I'll show you!

What are you up, Ree? Jii asked.

Come on Jii! You'll like this.

They both followed me out through the front door.

Where did you get that? Jii said with shock.

It's so shiny! Said Caleb.

My Dad built it for me! It was a birthday present!

I knew Dan was good with his hands but that's impressive.

I was shocked too Jii!

So do you want to go for a ride?

Yes, please! Said Caleb. How about you Jii? Care to go for a spin?

Absolutely! Let me get the car seat for Caleb.

Jii strapped in the car seat, and we were off. I put the top down. We drove east outside of the city. The wind was blowing in Caleb's black hair. He loved it. The rumble of the engine was pure music to his young ears.

Jii was loving it! I accelerated a little hard then back down again. I never went over sixty. I didn't want a ticket. We stopped in the parking lot, and I invited Jii to drive. He looked like a teenager behind the wheel. We had fun.

We went back I stayed for about an hour and visited with everyone. John's sisters were both in college at UNLV. I saw their pictures, they were beautiful. They were both black belts in Hap-ki-do and were working on Tai-kwon-do now.

I hugged and kissed everyone. I hugged Caleb last. The poor little guy felt abandoned. It broke my heart to see him like that.

Ree, will you come back soon?

I'll do my best kiddo. If you want to talk sometime just ask Grandma or Grandpa! They have my number!

I will promise to visit when I come back to town, Okay?

Okay, he said a little disappointed.

Hey! Don't feel so sad. So you remember what your daddy told you?

What?

Look up at the sky, close your eyes, and think of how much your mother loves you! She doesn't want you to be sad! Your mother is always watching over you and your sisters. You have to be strong for them. Just like your daddy and grandparents are strong you guys.

I love you, Ree! Caleb said.

Ohh!! Caleb, I love you too, little man! I love all of you! I started to tear up. I kissed his cheek a final time and said goodbye.

I touched up my makeup and headed home.

I took a couple of pictures of my Camaro in front of my house and took a couple of pictures next to the Corvette in the garage. I parked my Camaro in the garage. I went upstairs and started getting ready.

Mom was home when I got out of the shower. I asked her to help me with my hair. I showed her my new dresses. We decided on the purple dress. Mom colored my hair purple with KolourITup. While my hair dried, Mom painted my fingers and toenails. She gave my hair a messy bun updo.

I grabbed an overnight night bag and my new makeup and went to Aunt V's to finish getting ready with Lexi.
