One Boy's Journey Chapter 49

Mid-term Exam week

I had 5 exams in three days. Fortunately, two on Monday, two on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday. My Wednesday exam was at 10 am.

I drank Ian's energy drink as instructed! He was right, I felt wide awake and focused. I had enhanced confidence.

All my exams were scheduled for 3 hours. Monday's exams were not nearly as bad as I thought. I was the first one done in my first exam. I even went over it twice and I was out in under two hours.

My second exam on Monday was Latin 2. I struggled a little bit all semester. I used the extra time studying until the last minute. I wasn't the first out this time. I finished in two and a half hours. Half of the class was still seated when I left.

Tuesday was easier. It was English 2. 75 minutes flat, it was done. First out again and wasn't really trying. My second class was basic ethics. The concept was easy enough to grasp, but the legal structure they worded everything with made me glad I took a legal writing class at UNLV while I was in high school.

Wednesday was my last exam for my freshman year. I already had my schedule for next year locked in. I walked into the auditorium almost 45 minutes early. Constitutional Law 2. This, by far, was the toughest test of the year.

This was also a packed auditorium with over 200 students taking the same exam at the same time. I sat in the last row in the middle of the row.

Several students and some adults were taking the exam. I got a lot of curious looks. I stayed quiet the whole time. When the test started I was worried.. By the second question, I was in my element.

I was on a roll. My fill-in-the-blanks and essay questions went faster than I thought. Ian's drink was a little like that pill Eddie took in that movie Limitless!

2 hours and 20 minutes later I was finished. I double-checked my work. I was the fourth person to leave that test. I got a lot of head checks when I walked up the stairs

I was feeling really good about my exams! I rushed back to my room and packed my stuff up. Bree was scheduled to pick me up at 2 pm outside my dorm.

At 1:45 pm I noticed my Traverse rolling into the parking lot loading space. When the driver got out it was Ian!

Ian!!! I rushed outside and hugged him! He picked me up!

Hey, kiddo! Ready to go?

I'm so ready!

We went up and got my stuff. We loaded up my SUV and headed home to Becky's.

So how'd you do?

Exams? I think I did pretty well! I said. I finished early every time. I read through every test a second time before turning it in. We'll see soon enough. I should be getting an email about my grades. I'm just glad these mid-term exams are over.

Your freshman year is usually the worst! It was for me! Now that you have a year under your belt in school it will get easier now. Said, Ian

We have a special guest for dinner tonight! Said Ian.

Who? I asked

You'll see! But I know you're going to enjoy the company. Ian smiled.

Do I know them? I asked

You do but you'll have to wait for tonight!

Now my curiosity has peaked! I guessed over and over trying to get Ian to slip up a little. He was too smart for those tricks.

If you're with me, who's cooking?

I still am, but Bree is watching things. She is actually a pretty good cook too. Besides my Lasagna takes well over an hour to bake. I have homemade Italian bread too!

I love Lasagna, but isn't it a bit heavy for dinner? Our guest requested it.

Cathy and Caleb will be there with Ryan. He's getting big! Ryan is cruising on the furniture now.

That's great. Thanks for inviting me to stay with you guys. I was just going to go home. However, the opportunity to work in the firm is too good to pass up.

How are things with John?

They are as good as they can be, being so far away. He's busy training for the tournament in June.

Are you going to Korea again? Ian asked.

Absolutely! I won't miss it! Watching John is like watching Bruce Lee! He's incredible!

I saw the playoff and the championship game, he's a great athlete. His friend Blake plays linebacker better than I did and I was being scouted by the NFL.

Blake was a walk-on! He didn't get a scholarship. John told me worked his ass off to make the team. John actually put in a good word for him with the coach. Blake was actually pretty good in high school. John was the only player that got past him in the red zone.

You really like football!

I tried playing when I was a boy in sixth and seventh grade. But I was too small and too slow. So I gave up and got into computers and gaming. I made a lot of gaming friends on the Internet. But I haven't hardly touched a video game since the day I met Cathy.

You picked a great role model Ree!

She is everything I want to be!

Keep at it girl! You'll get there! You're in good company. I've been with Becky for years now. I can honestly tell you that no one does more for the underdog than she and her law firm.

We chatted for a bit more and took a nap in the car.

It was after 4 pm when we arrived at Becky's home. Ian helped me with my bags. I took a shower and laid down for a bit. After 3 days of exams, I was mentally exhausted.

I woke up to a chime from my phone. I had my first grades from Monday, both A's. It made me smile. Moments later there was a knock on my door.

Ree? Are you decent?

It was Bree.

Come on in! I was in my bra and panties.

Wow! You are very toned and shapely! I see why Sara wants you to be her model.

Thanks, I still haven't heard anything from my Mom about it or even talked to Becky yet.

Don't worry about it right now. You can call your Mom tomorrow. Dinner is almost ready!

I noticed Brianna was wearing a mini-skirt and a nice blouse. I have not unpacked yet.

She pulled out a black satin bodycon mini dress. It barely covered my ass with three inches to spare.

Yes! All of the above! I said. Don't worry we're all family here!

But the surprise guest!

Oh her! She expects to see you all dolled up. Now let's get you dressed and put together. She will be here soon. She handed me a brand new pair of 5-inch Jimmy Choo heels.

My mind was racing! What female guest wants to see me on full display?

Brianna gave me a high ponytail and then braided my hair while I did my makeup.

Here put these on. She handed me false eyelashes. They were a bit bigger than my regular ones. They were very sexy. I did a black and silver smokey eye and purple lipstick to match my nails.

I put in my amethyst-colored contact lenses.

I love those eyes and those contacts really set off your look!

I looked like a red-haired Arianna Grande with larger breasts...

I look like Ariana Grande! I said.

Exactly what I was hoping for! Said Bree. Come on let's go.

Bree took my practically pulling me downstairs. I felt uncomfortable being dressed like this in front of everyone. I've dressed sexy before but only for one person, John.

We walked into the living room and Cathy and Caleb were there.

Cathy! Caleb! I exclaimed

Hey little sis! Said Cathy. Whoow! Look at you! You look fabulous!

So do you! But that's normal for you I smiled. I hugged and kissed her.

Caleb, you look handsome as ever.

Thanks Ree! How's John doing?

He's great! He's busy training for the tournament in June. I said.

Cathy was dressed in a very provocative fashion as well. She was in a similar dress, but it was made out of red latex! With skin-tight thigh-high boots with 6-inch heels. Her makeup was Gothic style and a bit heavy. She looked incredible.

Caleb was dressed in black leather pants and a very tight shirt.

Everyone was dressed up like they were going to a nightclub. I noticed the kids weren't around.

Ian was in the kitchen and the doorbell rang. I'll get it! Said Caleb. It was Steve and Terri.

Terri!! I said excitedly! Steve! I hugged Steve first then hugged Terri tightly.

You must be the surprise guest! I haven't seen you two in so long!

Like you sweetheart, we've been busy! Said Terri. Steve just made Captain. I've been turning down jobs because I've been so busy.

You guys look great! I said.

You look very sexy! Said, Terri!

So do you. I said. Terri was in a skin-tight Yellow spandex mini dress that really showed off her curvaceous body. She had black Cuban heel stockings and beautiful black 6-inch high heels.

We were chatting in the living room. I was drinking an espresso, I needed the Caffeine.

When the doorbell rang again, Brianna answered the door. I couldn't see who it was from the door.

Welcome Ladies! I heard Brianna say. Right this way.

Kathryn and Cassandra, these are my friends and family. Brianna introduced everyone by name and relationship. When she got to me I was still in shock.

Cassandra, this is my friend Rianna.

It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms Peterson! I said.

Same here Brianna and Becky speak very highly of you. Said Cassandra. I heard you are a fan!

For a very long time now! I said.

I believe you two have met Kathryn.

Ree! It's been a few years! How are you? Kathryn smiled at me with delight.

I'm doing well, I'm currently attending Stanford University. I said proudly.

It's so good to bump into you! I have a small part in a local project this week. I think you would be perfect for it. It's two scenes and about two to four days of work. Would you like to come by and read it?

Me? Seriously! I would love it too! We are shooting on Friday and Saturday. I will leave the information with Brianna.

The dinner was very lively and fun. I chatted with both Kathryn and Cassandra for almost half the time we were there. I wasn't sure what the part was; I just knew it was two scenes, and I had about 5 separate lines to read.

Cassandra told me about a Gothic beauty contest she was hosting in a few months. She gave me an entry form to fill out.

When I saw what they required for talent I knew I would be able to do it!

In one night, my spring break filled up,, and my summer was filling up fast, too. So much for relaxing over spring break.

I hugged and kissed everyone goodnight; I air-kissed Kathryn and Cassandra. I can't believe I'm going to try out for an acting role! Now a Beauty contest!

It's been almost four years since the attack that changed my life. My life before and now is nothing short of a miracle as to how things are now. Talk about the difference between the two is as different as night and day!

I spent Thursday trying to relax and wind down. I did my normal routines like I was living at home and with my Aunt V. I swam, and I gave myself several enemas, not something I could do living in the dorm. I was feeling a lot better.

I was rummaging through Bree's closet. She had an extensive selection of clothes. Silks, Satin, and a lot of Latex.

I was trying on a very skimpy dark purple latex dress when Brianna walked in.

That looks amazing on you! But you need to lose the bra sweetie. You might want to wear the thong that goes with it too. Said Brianna.

But my breasts... I started to say Bree cut me off.

Darling, that dress is so tight you don't need a bra. She grabbed the thong. Here let me help you.

Brianna was in big sister mode. She showed me how to take the dress off and put it on. She gave me the thong, which was very thin, tight, and flat. With the dress on it didn't show at all.

My breasts were confined and controlled but they still bounced but not as bad as I thought they would. I have four different pairs of boots and shoes to match it too.

I have 7-inch heels, 8-inch heels ankle boots, 8-inch calf boots, or my favorite 8-inch heels thigh-high boots. Which one first? Bree asked.

If you're really brave I have ballet boots! Bree added.

Ballet boots?

Here! Try them!

Bree brought out the craziest boots I ever saw! The heels had to be 9 inches long with spike heels. You had to be able to balance on your toes just to walk in them.

Bree helped me put them on. I was walking in them with a little trouble at first. But after a couple of minutes,, I got my dancing balance back. I walked in them for about 15 minutes. Before my toes started getting sore.

Not bad for your first time! It took me weeks to learn to walk in them.

Well, I was a ballet dancer for three years, I said.

I took ballet a few years ago,, but I never danced in a recital. Bree said.

Let's go with the 7-inch platform shoes for now. I said.

You should wear it to dinner tonight! What will the kids think? James is sleeping, and he'll never remember, and Caitlyn and Violet have seen these dresses before. They like shiny dresses. They won't think anything about it.

But my breasts?

What about them! If you haven't noticed Becky and I are bigger than you, though not by much.

Ree I have to ask you, have you had any interest or issues with boys at school?

Not really, except when I'm in the library. All the boys cruise by my table. It got to the point I started reserving the study rooms.

No one grabbed your ass or tried anything handsy?

Once I had a guy grab my ass when he pretended to trip. I put him in a wrist lock. Several guys saw it, but no one dared to try it again.

That's my girl! Just don't go all Black Widow on them.

We giggled!

John told me I was ready to defend myself when I earned my red belt. But he said I'm not ready for combat!

Well, I think he would know! Bree said.

What belt is he now? Asked Bree

He has fifth-degree Black belts in Hap-ki-do and Tai-kwon-do and is a first-degree Black belt in jujitsu! He is also an NCAA Championship Wrestler. He won the 180-pound class. Last season. He's indestructible! I said.

Sounds like it!

How are you two doing? Bree asked directly!

It's been difficult, to say the least! All our college breaks are different except for Christmas and this summer. Once he's done with this tournament, he will start pre-season workouts for football, then training camp, and then another long season.

He has to play to go to school. He's just hoping to get accepted at Stanford for grad school now. Whether he gets a scholarship or not.

Myself, it takes everything I have to keep up in school. I do a yoga class once a week, a karate class once a week, and swim as much as I can to keep my stress in check!

Long-distance relationships are brutal, Ree! When I was deployed, my wife was completely alone on base. Other wives would help a little here and there, but it was all on her. She did a great job, but my not being around and her loneliness made the job even harder.

What are you saying, Bree?

I'm saying you have to be ready for anything. Even breaking up. I know you love him. But sometimes breaking up is the right thing to do, even when it feels wrong.

I don't want to break up! I said in a worried voice.

Ree you're not a girl anymore! You're a sexually active young woman! You have been able to prepare yourself for anything that comes at you.

I'll always be here if you need me! Besides Carol, you're the closest thing I have to a sister. We both have lived through some horrible events. No one understands that more than you and I!

I love you, sweetheart! I just want you to know I'm right here with you! And a two-hour drive if you need me!

I cried as I hugged her.

Come on let's finish your makeup and head downstairs. Ian's going to flip! She tied my hair in a high ponytail braid and added a dark purple bow on top of my head and a small black latex bow at the bottom of my braid.

When I went downstairs the girls were home from school and preschool. Ree, you're so shiny and pretty, my mom dresses like that sometimes!

I love the color said Violet.

Ian turned around and saw me and dropped his water bottle.

Rianna!!!!

What! I said.

What is the matter, Ian? Said Brianna. Never seen a woman in latex before? Because we both know that's not true!

I just didn't expect her to be wearing it! The girl is going to be 18 in a few months; she is already in college! She might want to venture out to a club one of these days! Brianna said smiling!

I'm sorry Ree! You look dynamite! It's just a surprise seeing you wearing that. It's not something I ever pictured.

She's got the body for it! Said Bree.

That's for sure! Said Ian.

I think she is very pretty! Said Violet.

I did a ballerina-style spin.

I love the way this dress feels. I said.

Good! You can have it! I have a couple more if you want them. Said Bree.

Ian, do you think John will like it?

He'll love it! Said Ian.

What size is it? I asked

It's a 2! Said Bree.

I'm a size four now. I'll never wear it! Enjoy it! It's yours now! Said Bree.

Thanks, Bree! I love it! I don't know when I will get a chance to wear it. But I will the second I do! I said.

You'll get your chance! You'll have plenty of opportunities to wear it! Sooner than you think! Brianna thought to herself.

Becky arrived home.

Ree, Becky is home. Grab the door for her will you please?

No problem! I said. I opened the door dressed as I was.

Welcome home, Becky!

Hi Ree.... oh my gawd! Ree!!! Where, when, how? Becky stuttered!

Do you like it! It's from Bree's closet! I was trying on some of her clothes! I hope you don't mind?

I did a ballerina spin for her. To add to the shock and aww, I curtsied to her.

That dress might be a little too much for a young woman your age, but you wear it very well! Gosh knows you have the body for it! Said Becky.

Thank you, Aunt Becky! I said.

That's what I said! Ian shouted from the kitchen.

We sat down and ate dinner like a family. It was fun. I was finally starting to relax. My dress was very tight, I actually enjoyed the feeling of how tight it was. I had to keep pulling at the skirt to maintain my modesty.

Are you ready for tomorrow, Ree? Asked Becky

I am but I'm not sure what I should wear!

It's all about Hollywood when you show up. I would say smart, sexy, and fashionable! Said Becky.

I have the perfect outfit for her! Said Brianna.

Not another latex dress I hope? Said Becky.

We all laughed!

No, I was thinking about my dark purple DKNY coat dress and black back-seamed stockings. Maybe add my gold herringbone necklace and some gold bangles!

That would be perfect! Said Becky. She will look 25 years old!

I have shoes! I said. 5-inch black Jimmy Choo heels.

You took Jimmy Choo heels to college? Said Becky.

Sure, I kept them locked up! I never wore them. But I had them just in case I needed something nice to wear. My roommate was always gone and we never talked much.

So no one knows anything about you?

Nope! Not a thing. They have no interest in me because of my age. So I used that to stay invisible! As far as anyone is concerned my parents saved up for my education.

When anyone asks I tell the truth. My mom is a cosmetologist and my dad is a retired police officer. It's not a lie, the information might be a little dated, but it's all true!

Clever girl! Said Becky.

Never let them see you coming! Isn't that what you always say! I quoted Becky while smiling.

That's exactly what I said.

As Cathy says you never see the shark that bites you until it's too late! I want to be a Megalodon like you and Cathy!

I'd say you have a great start sweetheart! Said Becky.

Who's taking Ree tomorrow?

I am! Said Ian. I'll take care of her!

Of course Ree, we had to get permission first! Kathryn and I called your mother.

I sent John a few pictures of me in the dress! We talked every single night. He misses me; I miss him, too! He wasn't even working anymore. Every free minute he was training.

John was excited about me being in a movie. When I told him who was directing, he was really impressed. I never told my friends about meeting Kathryn. She asked me to keep it on the down low. That's exactly what I did.

Master Moon was teaching him Sanbo. It was the Russian style of Mixed Martial arts. John apparently was catching on quickly. John heard a rumor that he might be fighting the current champion Li-Pok!

Li-Pok was supposed to have retired 3 years ago. Li-Pok was 39 years old and undefeated in the last six tournaments! No one has ever come close.

Li-Pok had three world championships and 3 gold medals in three Olympics. Li-Pok was the world's best in the 190-pound weight class. The biggest challenge for John to overcome was Li-Poks' experience! Li-Pok had more tournament experience than John is old!

I told him I would be there! There was no way I was going to miss this tournament! It also gave me an idea! I had to make some calls!

The first call I made was to Yon. She thought it was a great idea. The second call was to my Dad. I love having a Dad. Dan isn't your stereotypical Stepfather. He's a Dad! And a damn good one too!

My third call was to Peggy. I explained my idea to her in detail. She was shocked at first. But she understood where I was coming from. After the football game and the championship, she knew why this was so important.

My fourth call was to Blake. This actually went easier than I thought it would. Blake said he would talk to his Dad about it. Blake had to schedule time off because he was working as an assistant turn key in the Clark County jail over the summer.

I explained to Blake that I talked to my Dad and he would be calling his Dad. Blake thought that it was a great idea. I also told Blake that I already explained everything to Peggy before I called him. I wanted to make sure everyone knew this was my idea and not to mention anything about it to John!

I was in bed by 9:30 pm. I had a big day tomorrow, and I wanted to be at my very best for it.
