It sounds like maybe Kelly asked Lori for permission to date Arthur, and Lori gave it- then turned right around to ask Selene to be fwbs with him. My prediction is that pre-med isn't going Lori's way and she wants to come back and she's hoping that selene will "keep him on ice" for her when she does. She knows that Kelly is Arthur's "type" and selene isn't and is threatened by Kelly. Of course this is all pure speculation...

Let me ask you a few questions to demonstrate: Are the girls moving in for real estate? Friends? Or there boyfriend? The answer to the question is a unspoken right now and moving in with a boyfriend is a step the seem to be making without thought as they move from just playing to relationships. Kelly wants to be a house wife. Is she going to tell Arthur it's more than roleplay? Does Selene want a career or to be the house slave ( and likely maid)? Does Min what to be professionally attach to Arthur, exercising his authority in the office, or does she want to be her own boss. Considering she is a freshman this is the least important question.

Ever since Arthur mentioned he didn't like the way the first one worked, I've thought he should give Kat a homework assignment of creating her own lesson plan. While Arthur might know her limits they really didn't discuss in full what she wanted to learn. It might help Arthur to plan a better lesson if he has an idea of what Kat wants to dive into more. If they both have a clear idea the lesson may click better. I also like your idea of a date night to a bookstore, especially considering the new background information about Arthurs book group in his early college career, would be a good way for him and Kat to bond more.
