Yes. Noticed that too. But the next episode in the sequence is one of my favs so he’ll go in blind. lol. I loved how they kinda subtly put it into Buffy to explain.

2025-09-06 17:13:16 +0000 UTCWooww. That was a really strong episode. I love Spike in this one and hate Wood. I think Giles' judgment is clouded by his prior resentment toward Spike. I agree that the feelings that Spike's mother express are kind of true, in a way. Sometimes, I think, moms don't say to their kids that their paintings or "works of art" are ugly (when they are little hahaha). But she was really cruel and pervert, so I think that it was the demon really talking, taking true feelings, thoughts and memories and magnifying them. By the way, I was thinking about the comparison you do between Spike's mom and Norma Bates, have you decide or think about the next show to react when Buffy ends? Maybe "Bates Motel" will be a good idea. I really liked that serie. I hate that Buffy will end so soon :( but I'm excited to know what show we will be watching next.
