The Upside of Being a Downside Patron!

Hey Debbie Downsiders,

Thank you, thank you for continuing to support my negativity. I feel like The Grinch but instead of my heart growing it's my head. Speaking of growth, we've nearly doubled our subscriptions this month! So I figured it was time to do a quick check in + let you know what's coming up.

1. I promised that when we hit 50 patrons that I'd get an Uncle Function tattoo (Uncle Function is the sketch team Russell and I are on). I'm still working to find a tattoo artist, but I promise this is on the docket and will get done ASAP.

2. I recorded a clean comedy album last month that will never be publicly released (it's just to play on weird SiriusXM Christian channels so I can make that sweet god-fearing money). However, I will be releasing the audio and video on Patreon for you to enjoy/put on in the background during your morning prayers. The video version also has all the cursing I did in between tracks in case you're into that shit.

3. Like we did for our episode with Dusty Ray Bottoms, we will continue to release all LIVE episodes exclusively on this patreon (audio + video). As of now we have a live taping this Sunday with former adult entertainment actor/current comedian Alia Janine, and Russell and I will be doing another taping in Houston in March. My dream is to bring Russell more often on the road with me so I can combine my headlining comedy weekends with a live recording.

5. We're continuing to release our AMP episodes once a week exclusively on Patreon. I know for some of you the audio quality (it's recorded over the phone on a new Amazon platform) is not quite worth listening to and I totally understand. But the episodes were generally very good (we may have some guests on for a regular episode shortly) so I wanted to give them to you. No hard feelings if you skip them!

6. There was a brief period of time in our Patreon's rich and storied history that we went on a hiatus so a chunk of episodes (released on the regular feed) are not listed on here, episodes #70-99. You can listen / watch them on the regular non-Patreon feed, but for your convenience we've compiled all those missing episodes HERE as well.

7. We (Me, Russell, and producer Paige) have been brainstorming some good subscriber goal bonuses and here's what we got:

At 150: Russell and I will record a multi-part episode where we go through the entire

The 36 Questions That Lead to Love (and we will for sure be drinking) and release it as Patreon exclusives.

At 250: Russell and I will start recording a bonus patreon exclusive episode every month. We did this back in the day and they were a lot of fun - I just need to get our funds up so I can hire the necessary support to make it happen on a consistent basis.

At 500: This is the big one. Russell and I will make a professionally recorded mini-album where we sincerely perform 5-7 musical theater songs (maybe with some Broadway cameos?) and then give you exclusive access to the audio (+we'll make some kind of documentary of the process).
