BIG UPDATE + The Downside-

Hello Debbie Downsiders,

Some uncharacteristically exciting news, The Downside has been picked up for a 48-week run of LIVE shows by Amazon for their new audio app Amp!!!

Most importantly, this doesn't affect the regular podcast at all.

What it does mean is that every Tuesday from 4-5 PM ET you can hear me, Russell, and a guest do a live episode. Once it airs, it can never be heard again...unless you're a member of The Patreon! So if your life is missing some negativity, be on the lookout for new episodes here every Friday or maybe Saturday or maybe Sunday - the whole thing's new so we're figuring out the turnaround time still but we should know what it will be by next week.

I've been pausing all the Patreon billing since we stopped adding extra episodes but I'll be restarting again tomorrow. To recap, you'll get all the regular episodes ad-free, the backlog of Patreon exclusive episodes, all the new Amp episodes, early access and discount codes to merch that I will try to figure out this year, and comps to live shows in New York and hopefully other places around the world someday (got some cool news on that front coming soon).

Each new Amp episode will be labeled with a minus sign: The Downside- (get it?) and here’s the first one!!
