Just listened to this, great episode! Probably no one will read this at this point but I have to chime in to say I haaaaaaaate the p-word, I'm in my 40s and only very recently could make myself say it if I have to. For me, I think it's because my mother used it all the time (to refer to her underwear as well as mine), so I think I associate it with her underwear. That's just my predominant theory, I'm not sure why I hate it so much. I just use "underwear" as a substitute, but I DO run into the problem of needing a word for underwear that's sexy, because I agree that underwear is not a sexy word. I do think it's weird that Gianmarco thinks "underwear" isn't sexy but prefers "underpants," which sounds incredibly unsexy to me. UnderPANTS, it makes me picture long underwear, like thermal pants, or something.
