ive had a wine braised potroast before, it was just very heavy on the wine flavor. idk Could be vastly different from cook to cook though.

I've used balsamic vinegar in a pinch, but combining that sort of oaky wine with the beef broth and a little tomato paste and letting everything cook down, the best. I def don't use as much as she does here tho π
