You brush the sweat from your brow, the heat beating down upon you. On a plateau not too far ahead of you, a beauty lay; as though this summer heat was but a slight breeze.

She motions to you, and you feel compelled... as you draw near, the heat seems to reside and you can hear the music she is listening to from her radio; next to a drink that doesn't look like it was prepared here.

She tells you she comes here to relax, and rises to meet your eyes. She doesn't even motion to cover herself, her confidence drives her towards you; drink in hand.

She hands you the drink... which is surprisingly still chilled in this heat(?). As you press the glass to your lips, and the liquid pours into your mouth; a thought passes through your mind.

Maybe... you shouldn't have accepted this fate so easily...
