Pango brothers -- INKS
Added 2024-05-05 02:22:27 +0000 UTCI had been trying to design these japanese pangolin brothers for a while, but I never got the right, so far I like the idea, but Im not 100% happy with their heads, maybe the shape or the size.. Ill try to tune them a bit more with the colors

Yeap I usually just do the line art without any plain color or texture, and let it ready for the color step. but since Im posting it here I like to improve it at least a bit ^^

2024-05-06 02:39:19 +0000 UTCSomething I find often is that what's wrong may not be evident until you get color in so I'm really interested to see how this one shapes as you continue. One interesting thing I notice (being a brand new sub and an artist myself) is seeing how your method is so different for lineart. This I'd consider semi colored with flats because everything has it's own shade and even a few shadows in the bg! I just put a tan bg with some texture like a nice sheet of paper! *giggles*

2024-05-05 17:34:55 +0000 UTCLookin' forwards to these twins being worked out more; they're already looking handsome and pangolins are something I've always been interested in, but never really been sure how to really properly capture in anthro, so I'm excited to see how you do it and what you ultimately decide on for them.
