I mean yeah it was mentioned already in the debut episode of Lakan that Maomao's mom was superior to him in Go, whereas he always won in Shogi (he pretty much only plays those 2 games, to autistic obsession levels). So yeah Maomao was born w/ high enough powercrept stats at least INT wise

The hatred and disgust she feels for that piece of shit is so raw and visceral. Also the ominous music at the end with Suirei REALLY freaked me out, ngl. That was actually scary af.

They hint a couple times that they are always trying to keep them apart like when the old lady says “he has a good nose” to show he knows when she visits and the sisters telling the younger girl to keep her away from the monocle weirdo. I said this last week but probably over cooked again this week and next episode we find out she knows he’s her daddy lol
