well ...i guess he doesn't want to feel the teeth later, but at least he wasn't totally cruel and lop off stuff to; in a meanie way of removing them ...brutal is a little too nice, barbarous or monstrous would be more apt, maybe bordering on demonic for the obvious method of subduing the poor sissy in the first place with those bruises.
