Short and Thick or Long and Thin?

With that said, I can post up a 'short chapter' now and then the big ass scene that's bloating up as a second chapter later?
I'll give ya'll twenty four hours to vote on it.
(And the reason I didn't do that to begin with that is that I'm trying really hard to avoid slipping into 'one scene chapters'. Waffling is bad. Writing should be punchy!
The problem is, I'm doing a lot more politics and world building with this book, which by their nature, tend to be longer.)
P.S. I'm also commissioning some artwork of the Magistrate :D
