Kuzco had been pursuing Malina romantically for years. She had always resisted his advances despite her return feelings for him due to his many characters flaws. Still she always wondered what things would be like if she had ever given in. With this in mind she paid a visit to the temple of the sky god seeking and wished she knew if the Empire would have been better off if she had agreed to date Kuzco. There was a bright flash and Malina suddenly felt dizzy. Steading herself she found she was suddenly very pregnant. Kuzco was by her side and helped support her and asked if she was alright, and that perhaps he should have come alone to pray for the health of their soon to be born child. Malina as they walked back to the Palace easily managed to fill in what happened by getting Kuzco to talk about it, not a hard feat with how he liked to talk about himself. It seems in this new world she had married Kuzco and given Kuzco’s lazy nature, she handled all the hard parts of ruling, i.e. everything while he relaxed and acted as figurehead. The Empire was at least twice as prosperous as it had been under Kuzco as a result. Malina put both hands on her pregnant belly, it seemed she had her answer.
