I think that the girls choosing who they would have on their team was the way that they got to vote on who stayed in the show. The company took them at their word. I'm kind of surprised that the girls didn't realize that the information was going to be shown to the public. Like you are being recorded so it's probably going to be used. At least they didn't actually use the fotoage of the girls giving their lists and instead just put the totals out. Everyone was going to choose the top performers and the ones they felt closest too. I know I would have. Like the lady said the relationship between members of a group is important to the fans. You want them to put each other first because that is how we, fans, get to keep them longer. I didn't have a problem with Manon's story either. She owned up to her rough start and learned from it. She then worked on winning back the trust of her group. It was a learning moment. The girls needed to learn how to deal with negativity because they are going to get hate trains and will have to deal with that. The industry is mentally challenging, they need to be ready for that. This show didn't come out until after the group was chosen so we didn't get this in real time. We got the performances, the judges feedback and the elimination day vids. Those that were eliminated had some of the lowest points and the worse feedback from the judges, most people were not surprised that they were kicked out. And I have seen way worse survival shows, judges with prejuidices, unhealthy expectations of trainees, worse elimination announcements, harsher treatment of foriegn trainees, and so much more in the Asian survival shows. Like that announcement crap will get dragged out for hours!!!! Honestly this is soft compared to some of those shows.
