I-LAND SEASON 1 EP 7 FULL REACTION ! /FT BTS

Comments

You should definitely check out &TEAM in the future when you are ready. They will debut in Korea next month, October 28th with their mini album Back to life. This year &TEAM became the youngest artist/group this decade to sell over one million copies of their album Go in blind. According to statistics &TEAM is the most popular group in Japan who has debuted past 2020. Because of strict copyright laws in Japan it's hard for international fans to get access to &TEAM's content except for what's on their social media accounts. Because of that it's harder for international fans to discover them. If you want to know what kind of group &TEAM is I would say that dancing and performing is their strongest point. They are good at conveing feelings in their dancing. People who react to them with a background in dancing compare their synchronization to Seventeen. But that's something you can decide for yourself if you check them out. A lot of their songs are guitar driven with elements of rock, retro and hiphop. Their main producer is Soma Genda who produced Crystal Snow for BTS. In terms of their group vibe the feeling is very warm. The members are very affectionate towards each other and they are bubbly and happy when they are together. They say that their teamwork is very good thanks to K. Before they debuted K came up with the idea that all the members should gather every week and talk to each other about their struggles and opinions so they could understand each other better and build a good teamwork. They call K a communication genious btw. He is a person who likes open and honest conversations. Since K caught your attention I can give you a little more information about him. Growing up K was torn between his two passions, marathon and music. He was a marathon runner for 10 years. Before he decided to become an idol he had received a full scholarship for his abilities and he was accepted into the university he always wanted to go to. However he also loved music and had a dream of becoming a singer. He was not sure if he should go for marathon or become a singer. After he went to a Bruno Mars concert he had let's say "a holy encounter" were he broke down in tears because he knew in his heart that singning was what he truely wanted to do. K is a very passionate and highly sensitive person so he feel things deeply and gets stong emotions because of it. At 20 years old he took his first singing lesson. While he practiced singing he thought that it would be good if he learned to dance. He took his first dance lesson when he was 21. He fell in love with dancing and decided to move to LA were he could improve his dancing skills. While he was there he saw BTS for the first time and was starstrucked. When he moved back to Japan Bighit by chance had an audition there a week later. K did an audition and was accepted. Johnny's Entertainment, the biggest and most famous talent agency in Japan had tried to convince him to sign a contract with them by he had turned them down btw. However Ks partents and marathon trainer were not happy that he wanted to give up marathon. His parents cried and his trainer were super mad. K tried to convince his partents for 3 month. He even begged the bighit staff if they could help him by talking to them. Eventually they were convinced and let him move to Korea. K was a trainee in Bighit for 7 month and 1 month in Belift before I-land started. While he was a trainee he kept practicing marathon because he was scared of the thought if he didn't managed to debut. People who watched I-land's live cams gave K the nick name Mr. Practice bug because he always woke up first and started practicing. K has talked about his time as a trainee and the time in I-land as the darkest time in his life because he felt depressed over the thought if he made the right decision and if he would manage to debut. He wanted to prove to himself, his parents and his marathon trainer that he had made the right decision. It caused him to feel a lot of pressure. K is originally a very happy, funny, energetic, caring and affection person with a selfless and big heart. But because of his depression we didn't get to see a lot of that in I-land. He is highly creative who lives his life with passion. In &TEAM he is the performance leader and he has done choreographies for some of their songs. He also writes a lot. He started to do journaling in high school. He has a habit of writing every night and has finished over 30 journals. He also write and produced songs which are yet to be released. He sometimes helps with the production of &TEAMs music videos. One of his dreams is to produce a whole music video. An interesting fact is that &TEAM's main producer has said that K is the centripetal of &TEAM. His personality, drive and passion inspire people around him. Maybe that's why he so often was chosen as the leader in I-land even if there were some misunderstandings in the begining. As a BTS army since 2016 &TEAM remind me a lot of them in terms of passion and struggles. &TEAM has been treated in the Japanese music industry like BTS were treated in their first years. Groups who debut in the big music companies gets invited to the most popular music/variety shows early on in Japan because the big companies controlls these shows. It took three years for &TEAM to be invited to a big music show. Since &TEAM didn't have equal oportunities to promote their music they had to do sidequest just like BTS had to promote themselves on social media and by doing variety shows. &TEAM blew up in Japan after K won a popular marathon competiton back in late 2023. Sorry for my long essay. I guess I have a newfound passion.

Gurl! We said bring the tissues lol! This episode was a roller coaster of highs and lows. The advice that BTS gave was so good. It's so funny that the majority of Enha are actually army lol! One of the first things Jay bought was a rare BTS summer package which he posted on weverse lol! I say this all the time, Ni-ki is the maknae, but Sunoo is Engene's baby! He will always get the loudest cheers even when he isn't doing anything lol! My heart broke for EJ and Nicolas! They were both so good, but I'm happy that they got into such a good group like &Team. The &Audiontion show actually stars with our OG4 meeting up with Enha and having a little chat! I do remember you guys watching episode 7 or maybe it was a complilation of scenes from episode 7 with Josh. I wonder what happened to it. They do bring back all the trainees for the final show too. I think everyone was surprised about Sunoo's condition. I remember BAngPDnim saying at one point that he wasn't even sure that Sunoo was going to be able to participate in the show because he was still recovering. I'm so glad he did, because Enah would not be the same without our little sassy boy. The member say it later that they weren't sure anyone was watching the show. They thought it would just be their parents instead of the millions of us who were watching. I remember the campaigns that were going on for the different members. Hanbin's dance crew went all out on theirs to get him the votes he needed to stay in the show. They also did a little like summer camp mini series in between p1 & p2 that you can watch later. All 23 trainees were there for that one. I will take whatever you can give Cait. And girl please! What do you mean we won't go back to watch the other parts?!?!? I am soaking up every little morsel I can! I so enjoy your reactions! I am so looking forward to whenever the next one drops!

I am so excited that I caught up with you and the episodes. I am enjoying this so much. I can’t wait for the next episode because it is my favorite episode of ILand. I have always thought that Sunoo kept getting voted to the ground because of his physical condition. I don’t know if they knew about his health issues, especially the ones in ILand, but I am sure they noticed that he took breaks and might have thought that he needed to work on his stamina.
