I know I’m late but it was confirmed the reason myung-gi tried saying that gi hun slept with Jun hee is so he would feel less guilt eliminating the baby. He didn’t want to but he thinks that’s the only way for him to survive. Also we have to remember, myung-gi doesn’t know what the viewers know. He seen gi hun lead multiple X’s to fight and every single X died in the rebellion and gi hun came back unharmed. But he did go crazy, he became a victim to the games. The director said he’s not evil but he’s not a good person either. He’s a grey person, he’s in the middle. Where everything he does he feels guilty but he’s willing to do anything to make sure his own life is secured. Which is why I love his character. He’s an imagine of how most people would be in the squid games.

2025-08-28 11:33:45 +0000 UTCI agree that the baby winning was honestly the best way to end because honestly once Player 222 died and the baby was put in the game I was like okay there’s no way there gonna kill off the baby and gihun’s story was honestly coming to a close like I feel like there was nothing else for him to do. In my opinion he went out in the best way possible. A lot of people didn’t like the ending but I didn’t mind it even tho I’m not excited about an American spin off. S3 was like everyone binged it when it came out and had their opinions on it so I see how people would like it even less if they didn’t watch it all at once or close together ❗️

2025-08-17 15:32:09 +0000 UTCwait josh you wanted an ending where 456 won instead of the baby? the most innocent person in the game? haha i think this was the only way to end it to be honest. the baby is innocence in its purest form while gi hun had way more morals than everyone there, he still killed that one scared marine guy in the hide and seek game. also he came to “prove his point” so to speak that humans aren’t animals you can bet money on. idk i felt like that ending was fitting. also season 1 will always be the goat. the creator didn’t even plan nor want a second or third season, but netflix wanted another money grab. and they got what they wanted. they diluted his life’s work like idk how i feel about that. also the cop this season was trash like sir you came all the way there just to ask your brother why? lol the only good thing he did was save the amusement park dad and call the coast guard to blow up the island.. but as we saw in the end, the games are still going. humanity is still trash and gi hun wanted to go out with the humanity he had left. yeah the third season was not well received and everyone probably binged it the week it came out so it lost so much steam. thank you guys for finishing though i know it was hard esp for josh lol. can’t wait for bloodhounds tho!
