So just to explain a bit more — "자라" is the command form of the verb "자다." So Jun was basically saying "go to sleep," and that’s what 자라 (Za-Ra) sounds like in Korean! Haha yeah, Korean wordplay like this is super hard to explain in subtitles 😅

For Mingyu x Dino, Mingyu also keeps saying the international word "sushi" but the answer written in Korean is "Chobap". That's why the members keep saying "influencer" / "you don't know Korean??"

commenting again just to explain a bit of 한국어 wordplay! using Zara as an example, Jun was using the Korean word that means “to sleep” (Jada / Jah•dah / 자다) because it makes a similar sound to Zara (the letters A and R in Zara are pronounced a bit differently with a Korean accent, closer to Zahdah)! Korean wordplay is often too confusing for the subs to explain in English so they just don’t 💔 a lot of their references only make sense in Korean, i’ve taken 2 courses and it’s still hard 😭 but i’d love to yap and explain the jokes LOL, sorry it’s long!
