2025-04-15 14:04:49 +0000 UTCThe part where Geum myeong says she always spoke to others like she were writing a love letter, choosing each word carefully but that when speaking to her parents the words would leave her mouth and turn into barbs and how she would turn careless with her words and feelings when speaking to them. That really hit me hard. That entire sequence. Even when she said that “one kind word or action from a stranger can make them your savior” but you forget the person who has been your savior a million times over.. just how sometimes kids can take their parents for granted, and not even because they arent grateful or dont love them.. i know you guys are watching from perspective of parents but for me even right from the first volume I have been watching from perspective of a child and I think that is what makes this show so wonderful how we can all watch from different perspectives and still find relatability and still take away important lessons from every episode

The little details are coming together! And yes volume 3 (autumn) is gonna shift into more of geumyoung's story.. can't wait for next week

She's just a woman who hired a tutor for her daughter, she's been looking for someone similar in appearance to take the exam for a long time. In Korea, it's normal to call elders Auntie and Uncle, even if they're not related. I know there was no such question, but just in case, I'll add that they sold the house and moved into an apartment, but it's also on Jeju Island, just at the other end.
