Cause GD and Taeyang are famous for being a same-age friends duo. And we know Woozi and Hoshi are the biggest Bigbang fans. So basically what they are saying is "When it comes to 1988 it's GDxTaeyang, when it comes to 1996 it's HoshixWoozi". 1996 is the year of the rat btw

Rather he is utilizing melodies that are very well known by others like the ones from their childhood games. it’s hard to find an owner for music that is so widely known for things like red light green light which has the same melody as the coca cola ad song they heard when they were kids. So since the song is called same aged friends (96ers), [we used the melody] because it matches the vibe of friends who sing these kinds of songs together. WOOZI a FREAKING GENIUS i tell you.
