alright I'm about to start this but not sure if I'm emotionally prepared- I'm ignoring the other comments until I'm done 😆 ok I finished- Yep it was an emotional roller coaster. I'm ok with the ending because it seems more realistic. we weren't gonna get closure because all this stuff is still happening. but at least he got a little ray of happiness cause the guy was still alive. and I bet the guy knows what they did and maybe some changes came from it. so all in all I thought it was a good ending. I'd say 9/10 drama for me.

2024-12-29 11:23:25 +0000 UTC9/10 for both seasons. i like the ending just because it’s realistic and not some fairytale ending. in reality, with these higher ups, it’s kinda hard for change to happen, but i think they made a big step with this lawsuit. and with the crown prince, i didn’t want their interaction to be happy. to me, it just showed that the crown prince was able to be a bully and perpetrator in the military, but is now living a normal life outside without any consequences. sure, he went through something traumatic as well, but he also deserves to be punished. overall, i think the performances of the show were amazing. once again, jung hae-in, who played jun-ho, did such an incredible job as an actor. jun-ho was an imperfect hero, wanting to fix his own mistakes by fixing the mistakes of the military. and koo kyo hwan, who plays han ho-yeol, did amazing also. he really brought a lot of the scenes to life with his comedic timing but also depth to the character.
