can't abide by anyone talking mess about chef ed lee. after the metoo movement females were quitting the industry so he started a mentorship program for young women aspiring to become chefs. during covid his lee initiative foundation provided meals for thousands of essential workers. he just opened a non profit restaurant in DC, which completely eliminates gas and plastics to run as sustainably as possible. he's publishing all the processes and financials so other restaurants can learn how to run their own spots sustainably. the guy just won the james beard award for humanitarian of the year lmao.

I was obsessed with cooking competition shows, he's a cool guy but I think he won this blind tasting bc he used the kimchi in a surprising way. Meat master was funny af tho saying he was gonna drop off Edward at the airport 🤣🤣🤣
