I heard from my SK friend that South Korea military environment has a lot improved since ‘the fat-ass shooting in barracks’ in season 2, which happened about 10yrs ago in real. At that time, some investigators said that coercive atmosphere in barracks was influenced by Japan's Self-Defense Forces because initial SK military system was created when they got occupied by JP. After that, some forces decided to adopt western military(ex:US) barracks environment to make it better. 2021, as D.P gained huge popularity in SK, some issues of military conditions was again brought up in media. For example, the line “canteen made in 1953” became famous, some forces actually surveyed their canteens and replaced all the outdated canteens.

Also, the countdown on my phone says Tae and RM only have 183 more days to get through. I think about the five members still in when they show the day countdown at the beginning being in the 500s. I’m glad we are under 200 now.

2024-12-08 21:33:15 +0000 UTCall the actors did such an incredible job with the show, but i always have to praise jung hae-in (one of my top 3 favorite actors). ahn jun-ho is a serious character and doesn’t speak much for the most part, but the way he’s able to act out jun-ho with his eyes and convey so many emotions is incredible. whenever you guys have the time to watch a movie, i really recommend veteran 2: i, the executioner with jung hae-in in it (came out this year).
