2024-09-30 18:08:09 +0000 UTCIt's so crazy how no one expected chishiya to be a doctor irl! I thought he was a CEO or a conman ... The plot twist π but yes he's definitely super intelligent. It's sad that him and the king of diamonds had that one thing in common of trying to save peoples lives but their careers got in the way of basic humanity. Cait is right tho, the show time and time again keeps asking "what is your purpose in life" or "what's your reason for living" and it's a huge running theme in this show. I'm so happy you guys love this j-drama π hopefully this opens the door to more Japanese/Chinese shows in the mix. TY MY FAVES π

2024-09-30 17:29:27 +0000 UTCSo the Queen or the kid couldn't change teams on the checkmate game bc they were the leaders of their teams... so the kid stayed by the starting point bc there was no point in him running, but the Queen was trying to make sure the people who were on her team STAYED on her team by using force lol. Hope that makes sense! These 2 episodes I felt like were introducing new characters and backstories of our side characters so it was a little slow but the games still kept the same energy. Especially the acid game... imagine dying that way bro. I'd rather get zapped by the laser lol. Last 2 ep next week!! Thanks guys
