To not give spoilers, I don't think anyone commented prior about the show being a prequel, up to when the "Save Me" webtoon! If that is the case, and season 2 gets the green light, then we should definitely be getting everything from the last 1/2 of the explanation video and timelines. After watching it a 3rd time with you, I picked up on a lot of things. It definitely focused on character development so you would understand how close they are and how they got to the point of save me webtoon. Hybe did say there was more BU coming out in 2025 when the boys get back and that it would be celebrating the HYYH 10 yr anniversary! So hopefully that means more answers and another season. One thing you said that should have been in there was Tae's dream. They were in there in ep 11. He talked about it at the restaurant at the beach. Also, keep in the back of your mind that last JK entry where the dates are marked out and the last ep of the drama. It says he was the hidden contractor! That is a new development we got as well! Ty again! Side Note: the actors were beyond amazing!

2024-08-09 07:30:48 +0000 UTCI still haven’t watched the last 2 episodes of Begins Youth yet, but I went into it knowing the story line after watching all of the BU content and Xceleste’s videos. The series is inspired by the BU, but there are several deviations from the original storyline. Like the time traveling. It is SO important to the storyline, but I’ve only seen hints of that in the series (unless it’s in the last 2 episodes…). There are a lot of missing details, but you also have to remember that the series is not a retelling of the BU-it’s only inspired by it.

I did hear that the show kind of deviates or might be a prequel to the BU, but from what youre saying they kind of erased a lot???? interesting but im gonna finish watching before i make a final thought

2024-08-08 01:42:05 +0000 UTCthe show honestly spends more time on their high school days before the craziness happens rather than the time traveling part. i would say it’s more like a prequel than anything. if they continue the show in another season, then it would probably go into all that you think was missing from the show.
