The way Cein character talks, bites his nails, sleeps, even his walk and mannerism has me really shook. Especially hobi and Jimin's as well! Down to Hwan getting jumpy and scared easily like jin! Wow, these actors MUST have REALLY studied our boys hard! Can't wait for fri. Good luck with your last week of school Cait! Love from West Texas!

So in this episode when we find out about his hearing, I remembered that and realized they were so subtle with their foreshadowing.

But I’m so glad that you guys are reacting to it because rewatching with you guys, I’m catching things I didn’t see the first time. I must be blind because I didn’t even realize the marking on the hand of the body was a “7”. Thank you Cait for pointing that out. Please keep posting your reactions to it even if it doesn’t get 30 hearts because I don’t think it will. I didn’t know there were a lot of people that said they wouldn’t watch it. Was there something problematic with the production? It’s a shame because those young actors put so much effort into those parts and are so good. I didn’t go any deeper in the BU than the videos and the basic information so when I’m watching, nothing conflicts. I don’t know how much is added in a story, because i remember only plot highlights so I watched it as a drama that could have been independent. However, I think I became invested in the characters more quickly because I kept seeing Jimin, jhope, Yoongi, and for the first time Tae with this episode. It was something in the actor’s way of speaking. Like when Tae was closer to this age he would suddenly say something louder than you expect. Then other times, he was a little closed off. When Hwan was telling the JK character not to do something because he was young, I was like yep, that’s Jin and JK. Then Cein said at the bonfire that the JK character ( I’m blanking on his character name right now) was growing up. Yoongi always says that about JK. I agree with Josh that the actor who plays Cein really nailed some of Yoongi’s mannerisms. He did the head shake and called out instructions at the soccer game just like Yoongi would. I think he even does his speech pattern like Yoongi. When I was a baby army, I came across info from the BU, at the same time I was learning real information about BTS. For almost the first year, I thought Jin was from a chaebol family. I thought jhope’s mom abandoned him at the amusement park. That really confused me when I saw jhope’s birthday video where he cried so hard. His mom and sister told him happy birthday and I told myself his dad must have remarried. Then I came across “Mama”, expecting it to be like a cypher really tearing into the woman that left him, but it was sweet and he was saying nice things. I was like, I guess he forgave her 🤷♀️😂 I don’t remember how long before I found out these “facts” were part of a story.

2024-06-08 15:02:15 +0000 UTCDon’t forget, all the opening scenes are from events that happened BEFORE they all really got to know each other and become friends. So it would make sense that Cein didn’t know Jooan. Also Jooan is one of those characters where they gave small changes to his storyline. Changes that I think really added depth to the character, but just also keep that in mind. 😅 Things are gonna start to get more intense now with each episode. Also…Cate what was the name of the book you’re reading? It sounds like an interesting read.
