If you are going to some more Studio Ghibli films, which I would high recommend, I would actually reckoned you watch them with English Dubbed, they probably have some of the best dubbing of any thing ever, and it allows you to really pay attention without the need to read anything

Also, I don’t think y’all picked up on this but my theory is there’s also some undertone of young love between Chihiro and Haku. There were some subtle hints thrown throughout the movie and it’s also left to the viewer’s interpretation. I’m guessing that’s why you were confused when Yubaba’s twin sister called Haku her dragon boyfriend. Kumaji also mentioned it’s love when Lin was wondering why Chihiro was heading out to visit Yubaba’s twin sister to save Haku’s life.
