This is the album when I started stanning SVT. And Kidult is the song that made me a Carat. That song makes me want to laugh through my tears. Like what the heck?!?!?🤣😭 I just wanted to be able to sing the lyrics. And then I was hooked! No matter how much time passes this album will always have a special place in my heart.

Kidult is just that song! Like you can not love it and appreciate it for the lyrics and connection to everything but also the fact Scoups writing while on hiatus it’s an emotional journey that everyone just needs to hear

This album never loses it's power to stir emotions and make eyes well with tears esp. with TOGETHER, KIDULT and even MY MY (yes, I once bawled listening to My My lol)... HENG'GARAE (and SEMICOLON) being released in the year when everyone was struggling with the world being in an unwanted pause, the songs do really give comfort and reassurance that you are still alive and doing well and you will continue your journey no matter what. The two mini albums are very precious.

Together and Ima's intros sound almost the same. I'm glad you found out right away. We were all kinda shocked when Ima came out, cause it sounded like the Japanese version of Together.
And yeah someone explained about Fear and Fearless. I was really hoping you could find that Joshua part in Fear lol

I think "I Wish" is a love song... What I got from Woozi's explanation and several reviews from people who are good at Korean, in short, this song is about us being envious of our ex (?) who has moved on while we are still thinking about them without them knowing, like saying "I wish I could be with you." This song may seem a bit unsuitable for the "Henggarae" album because it's kinda different from the other songs, but it seems like Woozi wanted to include one sad ballad song so that the album would have more diverse tracks. Maybe he was also confused about what order to put this song in so it felt weird when this song was between "Left and Right" and "My My". But actually, because the big theme of Seventeen's project in 2020 is "Youth", maybe we can say that this song is a representation of when we were heartbroken and regretful when we were young, so we can encourage ourselves with other songs on the "Henggarae" album.

One of my favorite SEVENTEEN albums. From Fearless corresponding with Fear and S.Coups writing Kidult while he was on his hiatus, and Together sounding like an Anime OST. I love Heng:garee so much. What I also remember and love about Heng:garee is it is also a DIY album and SEVENTEEN making CARATS put the album together and decorate the album ourselves.

i love how you pulled up ima with together too, because when i have svt on shuffle i still get them mixed up when the intro plays 🤣
i love the love for together! this has become my fav song as well and i've seen svt live twice now but that's the only song that's made me cry in their concerts 🤣 this is probably one of my fav mini albums as well 🤍 thank you for the reaction!!

To answer your question, 'Fearless' is indeed the sequel to 'Fear'. Jeonghan's line "Even though I know that nothing lasts forever, I couldn't end it" in 'Fearless' is the exact same line that Joshua sings in the very first verse of 'Fear' right after Wonwoo's part. You couldn't find it bc it was actually Joshua who sings it in 'Fear'. I loved how both songs tied together where 'Fear' talked about them being scared to stay together as they saw themselves as poison but in 'Fearless' they overcame that fear. Using a line from 'Fear' was so genius in the production aspects of things too!
