Thank you guys for the reaction. The journey of him loosing his power and get them back again were the same, full moon and the car. When he lost is power the killer try to kill them with the car and when they fell in the water with the full moon his power transfer to her, and now it was her " cousin" who try to kill her with is car and since it was a full moon he got his power back. Also she didn't take the poison, she was thinking about it, but she didn't have a chance because of her cousin.
