I was hesitant to watch this cause I saw clips of the members, especially Wonwoo and Woozi breaking down and Cheol saying managers must be happy, cause "content". Caratland date was so close to Wonwoo's mom's passing and even if they did post the parents' messages, they didn't need to zoom in on him in particular.

2024-04-13 16:53:45 +0000 UTClol i finally got around to watching this with you guys and ignoring the emotional ending, the going rangers skit is sooo funny and packed with inside jokes. the whole things started just as a little one off joke in one of the going svt episodes where they were wearing safety helmets and dino and dk started pretending to be power rangers (and made the others do it with them). and the entire thing with joshua and dk arguing about the wallet is bc those instances about dk forgetting his wallet actually happened + the dk throwing stuff to the ground while arguing and then picking it up after someone told him to is also things that happened hahaha Seventeen love their inside jokes and ongoing bits which is what makes me go they truly are the theatre kids of kpop. not because of the elaborate performances but bc of their willingness to do improv and commitment to just yes-anding each other until it spirals out of control aka this going rangers bit and the escalation of dino's pi cheolin (was a character in a caratland vcr -> full going svt skit character -> reoccuring character with fully fleged backstory -> showing up at the bss award show performance lmao...also dino's instagram name feat.dino is a reference bc pi cheolin is meant to be "featuring" since he's a nosy old man in everyone's business all the time)

Once you watch their Going SVT series, all the jokes will make more sense. So happy to rewatch Caratland with you guys!

I would also recommend watching circles on day 1 well actually both day because they just emotional boys. I watched day 1 live and I couldn't recover after circles for the rest of the show. but Wonwoo watching day 1 broke my heart as its the song close to his heart as it is for his mum. this was almost a year after won woos mums passing. day 1 was the surprising of flashback images over the years with family and the members including training so practically all the members sobbing. but day 3 Wonwoo letter calling all the members his sons and Wonwoo crying over his dad message is much deeper since her passing which is so sad because it also affected all the members because they consider all the parents each other parents. I love jeonghan passing an image to woozy to make him smile in the ment

Also Caratlands are usually held in March but this year 2024 Wonwoo spoiled on Live „because of something” it’ll be rescheduled. Cant wait for Caratland 2024 and switched unit’s songs. I need hip-hop unit or vocal unit to do I don’t understand but i luv u choreo😂Also Fire by vocal or performance unit??That’ll be crazy!

2024-02-15 08:21:29 +0000 UTCto answer ur question, Yes that was TWS!! when this Caratland happened everyone was super hyped to see a new Pledis boy group being teased since SVT was the most recent group to debut and that was all the way in 2015. TWS was also teased the same way Nu’est teased SVT in the crowd of one of their concerts a long time ago! the SVT members, Bumzu (Pledis in-house producer), and Baekho from Nu’est have been spoiling their babies well. haha TWS have mentioned that all the members buy them food often, Hoshi bought them all shoes, S.coups bought the eldest a new phone and the maknae an ipad, Bumzu bought the maknae a macbook and airpod maxes, and Baekho bought the maknae an apple watch. they are super spoiled and you love to see it. TWS are gonna be looked over well and i’m so happy for them. the literal BEST sunbaes to have!

Ngl I forgot how hard Jun went for coups part and hoshi rocking up with wonwoos gigantic fur coat lmao oh how I love these guys Also omg now you’ve met GOING RANGERS!! There was actually a ton of going seventeen references in the skit that make it even funnier, and they’ll reference this skit itself too in one of the TTT episodes! There are so many inside jokes with seventeen like all the jokes just build on and on across all their content, the carat life is a never ending saga of emotions and hilarity fr 😂

2024-02-15 08:12:31 +0000 UTCThis was Caratland from March 2023, during the first 2 days, Coups spoiled that SVT was coming back twice in 2023. The 'See you in April' was referring to the release of Super/FML. Caratland (and their Japanese fanmeeting shows) isn't a typical concert, they throw in more skits and games than they usually do in a regular concert. The Korean/Asia concerts are always super long. The Be the Sun concerts in the US were only 2 hours long (but still super fun and energetic). I highly recommend checking out their 'Hit the Road' tour documentary series that follows the 'Ode to You' tour (the tour that got cut short due to the pandemic). The episodes are only like 10-12 mins long each, but really good.

They have made it a tradition to end their concerts with the 'Never Ending Aju Nice' where they will loop the song and force everyone to jump (there was a concert I believe where they aju niced at least 15 times😂). They always fake Carats out by saying goodbye and even going behind the closed doors until all of a sudden you hear AJU NICE with the doors opening again and the members come running back out on stage 😂 Speaking from personal experience, if yall get to go to their concert this year, prepare to jump like crazy, the never ending aju nice is an out of body experience! They also will point you out if they catch you not jumping, specifially Boo, we call him the Aju Nice Police LOL

2024-02-15 06:57:05 +0000 UTCMy favorite part was during Woozi's part during Healing where he was like "i was wondering why you weren't coming" to Dokyeom then telling him to stop and to put him down 😭 During that part Dokyeom always clings to him and he always complains but Dokyeom was like 2 seconds late because he was sprinting across the stage to get to him so Woozi was like "why aren't you coming to smother me with affection me even though i always complain." They're so cute, like SVT are so lovely and full of love

I watched the livestream of this all 3 days that weekend last year, and it was so emotional! Woozi cried during Circles all 3 days, but it was heartbreaking to see him and Wonwoo totally break down on Day 3. I've been vaguely tempted for a while now to make myself a Going Ranger jacket, lol. I did make Going Ranger pins to give out if they come back to the US. That part at the end when they showed all the Carat posters and signs is something they do at all their shows, US Tour included. I don't know if all groups do it, but I enjoy that segment. During the livestream there were some helpful Carats in the weverse chat who were translating them for us.

2024-02-15 05:33:59 +0000 UTCthe reason why they laughed at hoshi's speech after they sang circle is because that' his go-to speech when they have concert overseas. “i’m so happy to meet you, and i realize once again that you guys mean a lot to me. thank you for all your love, and i promise you i will show you the best performances and music for your love! thanks guys". it eventually became kind of an inside joke, to the point that carats have already memorized it and say it with him.

So basically perf unit performed hiphop unit's "Back It Up" , hiphop unit performed vocal unit's "Imperfect Love", then vocal unit did perf unit's "PANG". it's not always in this order, in previous caratland, h-unit would do p-unit, p-unit, would do v-unit, then v-unit would do h-unit. if you also plan to watch previous caratland, you will also notice that whenever vocal unit would do the unit reverse, it always has a touch of comedy in it lol

But watching your introduction before the concert even starts already has me smiling so hard my face hurts, so i hope you guys know how much joy your silly intro stories bring.
