Knowing so much about what happened has made it feel too heavy to experience as a film but I'm open now to watch it if it gets picked.

I think Titanic is in its own tier, I mean it is one of Cameron’s masterpieces so I would suggest to anyone to experience it once in their lifetimes. But I do hope you watch something you want to see in the end, I don’t like the idea of forcing someone to watch something.

But I feel bad voting for it knowing it might be too heavy for you so I voted for When Harry Met Sally. It seems like Titanic has won regardless so I hope you end up being glad you watched it. Honestly the soundtrack alone would make it worth the watch for me.

2025-10-17 14:33:51 +0000 UTCI absolutely understand, that Titanic can be a heavy watch, but as a person who is very interested in the whole Titanic "legacy" I abolutely recommend it. It's not only a story about human failure and egoistic choices, but of hope, of how people become their best in the darkes hours and what it means to sacrifice your own life to protect the ones you love. It has a beautiful love story as well and both Jack and Rose shine in their roles. You are such a lovely and empathic person, I bet you would enjoy the subthemes a lot. And I am very interested what you think about this movie, even though of course the overall story is very tragic.
