Matthew Perry had serious Vicodin addiction during season 3, he could not eat and lost a lot of weight by the season finale. He is looking much better thank to a rehab time I think.

2025-10-11 11:24:30 +0000 UTCI have the same feeling, but in season 6 he is a little overweight and season 7 he was thin (apparently sicker) and later I found out that in fact he was worse in season 6, struggling really hard. So it is hard to say. Despite the weight he looks healthier (complexion wise)

Back then when they broke up again season 4 I was sad. But now I think: yeah, it makes sense, no one can make it work in a healthy way.

I'm on Ross' side with the whole letter and he once again broke up with a girlfriend for Rachel and ended up alone in the end. I really get frustrated with the cat episode because Ross was 100% right but episode made him look like the bad guy.

2025-10-10 07:39:50 +0000 UTCDefinitely the most iconic "WE WERE ON A BREAK" of all the we were on a breaks. I enjoy how much snarkier Ross becomes once his initial smitten phase with Rachel ends. He's still in love with her, but their arguments are so much more fun to watch. I agree with Ross that their breakup wasn't 100% on either person, but he still has the exact same issue as their original breakup, which is that he thinks it's okay to casually lie about important things if it's going to save the relationship. Expecting someone to read a thorough 18 page letter (front and back!) at 5 am or whatever is wild though. I think the thing to do would be to say that you're too drained to give it the attention it needs right now, and come back to it tomorrow. Rachel might have been annoyed because it's Rachel, but it'd be better than what happened. Glad you're getting some Monica and Chandler content!

2025-10-10 07:17:20 +0000 UTClove rachel a lot but expecting ross to read an 18 page letter “FRONT AND BACK” right away & expect he have a decision was so unnecessary! then the whole phoebe situation in the last few episodes i just feel so bad for her out of the 6. she is so strong but you can tell when she has her sensitive moments. i honestly feel like her statement to ross could’ve been a little stronger but the writers didn’t want to make it too deep & keep it comedic sense that’s what the show is.

2025-10-10 00:52:05 +0000 UTCI find it completely immature to write a 36 page letter and blaming the other person for everything and not taking responsibility for anything. I don't know...I couldn't do it either. You can't even have a discussion just agree with everything the letter says no matter what you think and then just move on. Usually I blame Ross for being immature a lot of times (love him though) but Rachel isn't any better. As much as I love them both - they never learned how to handle their issues in a mature way.

2025-10-09 19:58:14 +0000 UTCI think after the previous season Matthew Perry (Chandler) gained more weight and looked much healthier this season but he was constantly having addiction issues so his appearance changed quite a bit in the early seasons
