Almost entirely hand drawn animation (though there are some CGI elements thrown in) that is distinctive and beautiful, incredible soundtrack, and top notch voice acting. Spirited Away, Suzume, Inside Out, Wild Robot, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Toy Story, Puss in Boots - The Last Wish, Incredibles, Nie Zha all have interesting and/or complex characters. Obviously the list isn't exhaustive but I love all of them.
